1994 Ukrainian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Ukraine on 27 March 1994, with a second round between 2 and 10 April. Volodymyr Hrynyov, also Hryniov ( uk, Володимир Борисович Гриньов, ; russian: Владимир Борисович Гринёв, ) is a Ukraine, Ukrainian politician, former candidate to the President of Ukraine. Biography Hrynov was born on July 26, 1945 in Bolshaya Troitsa village of Kursk Oblast (now Belgorod Oblast, Russia). In 1968 he graduated with honors from the Kharkiv Polytechnical Institute. In 1972 he defended his Kandidat, candidate dissertation (PhD), and in 1981, his doctoral dissertation. On March 30, 1990 he participated in Verkhovna Rada elections in electoral district no. 170 in Kharkiv. In the first round, none of the five candidates obtained the required 50% of votes; in the second round he obtained 53.49% votes and was elected to the parliament. Party of Economic Revival ( uk, Партія економічного відродження) was a political party in Ukraine set up by former communists in Crimea in November 1992 as Party of Economic Revival of Crimea. It was suspected of having ties with organized crime. Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Yavorivsky ( uk, Володимир Олександрович Яворівський; 11 October 1942 – 17 April 2021) was a Ukrainian poet, writer, journalist and politician. Biography Born in 1942 in the Crijopol region of Jugastru county (today part of Vinnytsia Oblast), Yavorivsky graduated from the Odessa State University as a specialist on "Ukrainian language and literature". Ukrainian Christian Democratic Party
Ukrainian Christian Democratic Party ( uk, Українська християнсько-демократична партія, ''Ukrayinska Khrystyianska Demokratychna Partiya''; UKhDP) is a small political party of Ukrainian SSR and Ukraine. It became a progenitor of the two other parties of christian democracy such Christian Democratic Party of Ukraine and Christian Democratic Union (Ukraine), Christian Democratic Union. The party became a powerful force in Ukraine during the revolutions of 1989, 1989 revolutionary wave in Europe and contributed greatly to the revival of such Ukrainian cultural organizations as Prosvita, Association of the Ukrainian Language, Plast as well as the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.
