Magnus, meaning "Great" in Latin, was used as cognomen of Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus in the first century BC. Alta Idrettsforening is a sports club from Alta, Norway. The club is most known for its association football department, which played in the 1. divisjon until 2014. Alta currently plays in 2. divisjon, the third tier of the Norwegian football league system. The club was newly promoted for the 2008 season; its last stint up to that time in the division came in 2005, when they finished last. The team finished 14th in the 2009 season. In 2012 a new relegation came after finishing last once again. It took them only one year to come back. Trond Fredrik Ludvigsen (born 22 June 1982 in Alta) is a Norwegian footballer. He debuted in the Norwegian Premier League for Bodø/Glimt at the age of 16 years and 314 days, and as such he is one of the youngest players to appear in this league. Good performances in Bodø earned him a transfer to Hertha BSC, but he was unsuccessful and returned to Norway. In 2005, he was bought by SK Brann. Ludvigsen has been troubled with injury since arriving in Bergen, and has not played many matches. Skeid is a Norwegian football club from Oslo that currently plays in 1. divisjon ( OBOS-ligaen), the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. Its current home field is Nordre Åsen, after the club stopped playing at Bislett after the 2012 season. Azar Karadas
Azar Karadas ( tr, Azar Karadaş; born 9 August 1981) is a Norwegian former footballer. Although he could also play as a central defender, he operated primarily as a centre forward. He had three spells with Brann, where he began and ended his career, winning Tippeligaen with that team and with Rosenborg. He also competed professionally in Portugal, England, Germany and Turkey.
