Turkish Super Cup
The Turkish Super Cup ( Turkish: ''TFF Süper Kupa''), as it is currently known, is the annual super cup football match contested between the previous season's Süper Lig champions and the Turkish Cup winners in Turkey. It was originally known as the ''Cumhurbaşkanlığı Kupası'' (Presidential Cup) from 1966 to 1998. No competition was held between 1999 and 2005, although there was a substitute competition played under the name of Atatürk Cup in 2000. The rebranded ''TFF Süper Kupa'' is a curtain raiser for the upcoming footballing season, usually taking place in August. In case of a team achieving the double, the Turkish Cup runners-up become finalists. The current holders are 2021–22 Süper Lig winners Trabzonspor, who won against 2021–22 Turkish Cup winners Sivasspor in the 2022 edition. Mehmet Bölükbaşı
Mehmet Bölükbaşı (born 24 March 1978) is a Turkish goalkeeper playing for TFF Second League side İstanbulspor. He is a product of A. Sebatspor youth academy. Journeyman Mehmet spent most of his professional career with the UEFA Cup winner Galatasaray after being discovered by Fatih Terim while playing in the third division. He directly found a place in first eleven, however, with the arrival of Cláudio Taffarel he could never get the chance to play regularly. He was capped for the Turkish U21 team in 1998. Arif Erdem (born 2 January 1972) is a Turkish retired football manager and former professional player who played in the forward position. Starting out with local club Zeytinburnuspor in 1990, Erdem had a decorated 15-year professional career. He scored 106 goals in 341 league matches and finished joint top scorer (''Gol Kralı'') of the Süper Lig with İlhan Mansız at the conclusion of the 2001–02 season.
