Azam Khan (cricketer, Born 1998)
Azam Khan ( Sindhi and ur, اعظم خان; born 10 August 1998) is a Pakistani cricketer who plays for Islamabad United and Sindh. He made his international debut for the Pakistan cricket team in July 2021. Known as a power-hitter, he considers West Indies player Chris Gayle to be his batting role-model. Personal life He's the son of former Pakistani international cricketer Moin Khan. His brother Owais Khan is married to actress Mariam Ansari. Often criticized for his fitness standards, before the beginning of the PSL 2020 he trained with Shehzar Mohammad for some four months, losing 14kg in the process. He's a fan of MMA, which he credits for the way he now handles fast-bowling, as previously he was perceived to be unable to play genuine pace. Shadab Khan (Urdu, Punjabi: شاداب خان) is a Pakistani international cricketer who plays for and vice-captains the Pakistan cricket team in limited overs cricket. He captains Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), and Northern in domestic cricket. An all-rounder, Khan is Pakistan's most successful T20I bowler. He is also regarded as one of the best fielders in Pakistan. As of 2022, he has been among the players centrally contracted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). ''Choorian'' ( pa, ਚੂੜੀਆਂ meaning "Bangles") is a 1998 Pakistani Punjabi language action romantic film, directed by Syed Noor and produced by Haji Faqir Mohammad. The film stars Moammar Rana, Saima and Nargis in leading roles. ''Choorian'' is one of Pakistan’s highest-grossing films of all time. The film has a simple love story. Youm-e-Takbir ( ur, ; lit. ''The day of greatness'') is celebrated as a national day in Pakistan on May 28 in commemoration of Chagai-I and Chagai-II series of nuclear tests. The nuclear tests made Pakistan the seventh nation to possess nuclear weapons and the first in the Muslim world. Etymology This phrase is recited by Muslims in many different situations. For example, when they are very happy, during times of extreme stress, to express approval, to praise a speaker, or as a battle cry (contemporarily used by Pakistan Army). In the Islamic world, instead of applause, often someone will shout ''Takbir'' or ''Nara-e-Takbir'' (in Urdu or Persian) and the crowd will respond with ''Allahu Akbar'' (God is great). Chagai-II is the codename assigned to the second atomic test conducted by Pakistan, carried out on 30 May 1998 in the Kharan Desert in Balochistan Province of Pakistan. ''Chagai-II'' took place two days after Pakistan's first successful test, ''Chagai-I'', which was carried out on 28 May 1998 in the Ras Koh Hills, Ras Koh area in Chagai District, Balochistan, Pakistan.
