1998 Coupe De France Final
The Coupe de France Final 1998 was a football match held at Stade de France, Saint-Denis on May 2, 1998, that saw Paris SG defeat RC Lens 2-1 thanks to goals by Raí and Marco Simone. Vladimir Smicer scored for the Division 1 champion which could not enjoyed two successes. This final was also the first ever played in the new Stade de France. Paul Le Guen
Paul Joseph Marie Le Guen (, ; born 1 March 1964) is a French professional football manager and former player. He was most recently the manager of Ligue 2 club Le Havre. During his playing career, Le Guen played as a midfielder, and enjoyed a successful stay with Paris Saint-Germain between 1991 and 1998, and won 17 caps for the France national team. As a manager, his most notable achievement has been winning the Ligue 1 title in each of his three seasons in charge of Lyon between 2002 and 2005. Club career Le Guen was born in Pencran, Finistère. During his playing career, he played at Stade Brest for five years and Nantes Atlantique for two years, before leaving his home region of Brittany for Paris Saint-Germain. Frédéric Déhu
Frédéric Fabian William Déhu (born 24 October 1972) is a French former professional footballer who played as a central defender. Club career Born in Villeparisis, Seine-et-Marne, Déhu made his professional debut with RC Lens, becoming an undisputed starter from his third season onwards. In 1996–97 he scored a career-best five goals, but the club could only rank 13th; in the following year, he was an essential defensive unit as his team won their first Ligue 1 title. Jean-Guy Wallemme
Jean-Guy Wallemme (born 10 August 1967) is a French professional football manager and former player who is the head coach of club Paris 13 Atletico. Playing career Wallemme was a mainstay of the Lens team which won the French championship in 1998. Managerial career In August 2011, Wallemme took over the Congo national team. Guillaume Warmuz (born 22 May 1970) is a French football coach and former player who played as a goalkeeper. He played 374 games in Ligue 1 during 13 seasons, representing in the competition Lens and Monaco. Playing career Born in Saint-Vallier, Saône-et-Loire, Warmuz started his professional with Olympique de Marseille in 1989. Laurent Fournier (born 14 September 1964) is a French former professional footballer. Managerial career Fournier retired in 1998, immediately becoming manager of his final club SC Bastia in Ligue 1.
