Jack Bicknell
Jack Bicknell (born February 20, 1938) is a retired American football coach, most recently known for his long involvement in NFL Europa and its predecessor, the World League of American Football (WLAF). He served as the head football coach at the University of Maine from 1976 to 1980 and at Boston College from 1981 to 1988, compiling a career college football record of 77–90–2. In 1984, Bicknell coached his Boston College Eagles team to a 10–2 mark including a victory in the Cotton Bowl Classic. His quarterback that season, Doug Flutie, was awarded the Heisman Trophy. Richard Curl (born May 4, 1940) is a former American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Trenton State College in 1974, compiling a record of 5–4–1. Curl also was the head coach for the Frankfurt Galaxy of NFL Europe from 1998 to 2000. The Rheinstadion () was a multi-purpose stadium, in Düsseldorf, Germany. The stadium was built, near the Rhine, in 1926 and held 54,000 people at the end of its life. It was the home ground for Fortuna Düsseldorf from 1953 to 1970 and 1972–2002. It was used during the 1974 FIFA World Cup and 1988 European Championships. Marco Antonio Martos (born December 14, 1973) is a Mexican former wide receiver and kickoff returner in American football, who played eight seasons in the NFL Europe League for the Barcelona Dragons and Cologne Centurions. Martos is the second all-time, all-purpose yards gainer in NFL Europe history. He also played in preseason games for the Denver Broncos, Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers of the National Football League.
