Douglas Craig
Douglas Malcolm Craig OBE is former chairman of York City Football Club. Craig is an engineer and a former local Conservative councillor. York City Early years Craig took over the club in as chairman in 1990, taking over from Michael Sinclair, a former businessman who is now a local priest. He enjoyed success under the guidance of manager John Ward and, later, Alan Little, York enjoyed their best period in recent years. A penalty kick (commonly known as a penalty or a spot kick) is a method of restarting play in association football, in which a player is allowed to take a single shot at the goal while it is defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. It is awarded when an offence punishable by a direct free kick is committed by a player in their own penalty area. Anthony Barras (born 29 March 1971) is an English former professional footballer who played as a centre-back in the Football League for Hartlepool United, Stockport County, Rotherham United, York City, Reading, Walsall, Plymouth Argyle, Notts County and Macclesfield Town. The English Football League (EFL) is a league of professional football clubs from England and Wales. Founded in 1888 as the Football League, the league is the oldest such competition in the world.
