1996 Dallas Burn Season
The 1996 Dallas Burn season was the inaugural season of the Major League Soccer team. It was the first time since 1981 that the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex had a professional soccer team. The team made the playoffs for the first time in franchise history. Paul Bravo
Paul Bravo (born June 19, 1968) is an American former soccer player who was most recently head coach of NISA side Oakland Roots SC. He played six seasons in Major League Soccer, two in the American Professional Soccer League and two in the USISL. He also earned four caps, scoring one goal, with the United States men's national soccer team. After his retirement from playing, Bravo served for several years as an assistant coach in both Major League Soccer and the NCAA and was most recently Technical Director for the Colorado Rapids. Youth and college Bravo was a student-athlete at Santa Teresa High School in San Jose, California. He then played two years of college soccer at Foothill Community College and winning State Championships and while at Santa Clara University and helped his team to the NCAA co-championship in 1989. Kevin Stott
Kevin Stott (born 1967) is a soccer referee for PRO from the United States. He was a FIFA referee from 1995 to 2008. Stott was selected as a referee for the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. Stott was selected as MLS Referee of the Year in 2010, after being selected as a finalist seven times. He has been a referee in MLS for 20 years. Samuel Ekemé Ndiba (born July 12, 1966 in Kumba) is a Cameroonian former football player who spent ten seasons in Cameroon, one in Major League Soccer, at least two in the USISL, one in the Continental Indoor Soccer League and five in the National Professional Soccer League / Major Indoor Soccer League. He was a member of the Cameroon national football team at the 1994 World Cup. Professional career In 1984, Ekemé signed with Carmmak Bamenda. He moved to Santos Yaoundé in 1986 in the Cameroon First Division and Canon Yaoundé in 1989. Jason Kreis
Jason Clarence Kreis (born December 29, 1972) is an American soccer coach and former player who currently serves as an assistant coach for MLS club Inter Miami CF and as head coach of the United States under-23 team. He coached Orlando City SC in Major League Soccer and was previously an assistant coach under Jürgen Klinsmann for the United States men's national soccer team. Prior to that he was the head coach of New York City FC and Real Salt Lake. Kreis spent the majority of his playing career in Major League Soccer in the United States, initially with the Dallas Burn, and later with Real Salt Lake. Kevin Terry is a retired English-American soccer forward and referee who played professionally in the Major Indoor Soccer League, American Soccer League and United Soccer League. John Doyle (soccer, Born 1966)
John Joseph Doyle (born March 16, 1966) is an American retired soccer player who played professionally in both Europe and the United States including the Western Soccer League, American Professional Soccer League and Major League Soccer. He was the 1995 A-League Defender of the Year and the 1996 MLS Defender of the Year. He also earned fifty-three caps with the U.S. national team between 1987 and 1994 including two games at the 1990 FIFA World Cup. He was a member of the U.S. team at the 1988 Summer Olympics and was most recently the general manager of the San Jose Earthquakes of Major League Soccer before resigning on August 29, 2016. Benedict Iroha
Benedict "Ben" Iroha (born 29 November 1969) is a Nigerian former professional association football player who played as a left-back or left midfielder. Career Iroha started his career in Nigeria, scoring the first ever goal in the newly professional Nigerian league in 1990 for Iwuanyanwu Nationale, who went on to win the league that year. Iroha was originally a midfielder before national coach Clemens Westerhof converted him to play left back. He was formerly an analyst and color commentator for soccer coverage on Fox Sports 1 and ESPN. Previously, he served as head coach and technical director of Las Vegas Lights FC in the USL Championship and he was previously the host of ''WTF: Wynalda Talks Football'' on SiriusXM FC.
