Wilfried Nelissen
Wilfried Nelissen (Tongeren, 5 May 1970) is a former Belgian road racing cyclist, who specialised as a sprinter. He was involved in a crash at the end of stage 1 of the 1994 Tour de France, when he collided with a policeman. The incident also involved French rider Laurent Jalabert. Nelissen retired in 1998 due to a knee injury that he suffered in 1996 after falling during the Gent–Wevelgem race. Jesper Skibby (born 21 March 1964 in Silkeborg, Denmark) is a retired professional road racing cyclist. He won at least one stage at each of the major tours. He was one of the most popular in Denmark, not only because of his talent, but also because of his wit and his constant banter. He rode for the Dutch TVM from 1989 to 1997, but switched to the Danish team Team home - Jack & Jones in 1998, where he ended his active career in 2000. Professional career He participated in Tour de France 11 times, completed it 8 times, and won stage 5 between Avranches and Évreux in 1993. He is one of the relatively few riders to have won stages in all three major tours (Tour de France, Giro d'Italia and Vuelta a España), and the only Dane. The Clásica de Almería ( en, Classic of Almería) is a single-day road bicycle race held annually in February or March in Almería, Spain, starting and finishing in Almería itself. Established in 1986, the race was run as an amateur event in its first six years. In 1992, it became fully professional. Jeremy Hunt (born 12 March 1974) is a British former road racing cyclist who raced for numerous years mainly a sprinter. Hunt was the winner of the British National Road Race Championships in 1997 and 2001. He now works as a directeur sportif for UCI Continental team . Career Hunt was born in Canada and grew up in England, firstly in Bury before moving to Devon. Michael Blaudzun (born 30 April 1973 in Herning) is a Danish former professional road bicycle racer. Michael is the son of 1972 Summer Olympics track cycling bronze medalist Verner Blaudzun and a strong individual time trial rider who has won the Danish national championship in that discipline in 2001, 2003 and 2005. After Michael Blaudzun won the 1994 Danish Road Racing Championship while riding for amateur team Herning CK, he was signed for the remainder of the 1994 season as a ''stagiaire'' at professional team Word Perfect.
