During the 1995–96 English football season, Queens Park Rangers competed in the FA Premier League. Season summary One player never makes a team, but QPR felt the loss of prolific striker Les Ferdinand following his £6 million move to Newcastle United. The last three seasons had seen QPR finish fifth, ninth and eighth in the Premiership thanks largely to Ferdinand's goals, but the new strike partnership of Kevin Gallen and Danny Dichio failed to provide anywhere near as many goals as QPR had managed while Ferdinand was up front. Andrew Rodney Impey (born 30 September 1971) is an English football coach and former professional footballer who is an academy coach at Queens Park Rangers. As a player, he was a full-back or winger who notably played in the Premier League for Queens Park Rangers, West Ham United and Leicester City. He also played in the Football League for Nottingham Forest, Millwall and Coventry City. He was capped once at England U21 level. Since 2015, he was worked back at Queens Park Rangers and has worked as an academy coach, currently with the clubs under-23 setup. Simon Barker (born 4 November 1964) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He began his career at Blackburn Rovers in 1983, winning the Full Members Cup with the club in 1987, before moving on to Queens Park Rangers the following year for £400,000.
