Burnley F
Burnley () is a town and the administrative centre of the wider Borough of Burnley in Lancashire, England, with a 2001 population of 73,021. It is north of Manchester and east of Preston, at the confluence of the River Calder and River Brun. The town is located near the countryside to the south and east, with the towns of Padiham and Brierfield to the west and north respectively. It has a reputation as a regional centre of excellence for the manufacturing and aerospace industries. Ted McMinn
Kevin Clifton "Ted" McMinn (born 28 September 1962) is a Scottish former association footballer who played as a winger. His nickname is ''The Tin Man''. Playing career Early years Born in Castle Douglas and raised in nearby Dumfries, McMinn was alleged by ''The Scotsman'' to be called 'Teddy' at school because he ran as if he had a teddy bear tucked under his arm. In his autobiography McMinn stated it was because as a toddler he and his teddy bear were inseparable. McMinn started his playing career at Scottish junior side Glenafton Athletic in 1981. Paul McDonald (Scottish Footballer)
Paul Thomas McDonald (born 20 April 1968) is a Scottish former footballer who played as a winger. Playing career After playing for a local boys' club in his home town McDonald was spotted by Hamilton Academical and signed for the club in June 1986. McDonald, who usually featured on the left wing played at the club during a period of comparative success, picking up winners medals for the First Division in 1987–88 and the Scottish Challenge Cup in 1992 and 1993. After a long spell at the Accies he was signed by Southampton for £75,000 in the summer of 1993. McDonald failed to make an impact at The Dell, although a successful loan spell at Burnley prompted Brighton & Hove Albion to pay £25,000 for his services in 1996. He left the club the following year and returned to Scottish football, with spells at Dunfermline Athletic, Partick Thistle and Greenock Morton before returning to Hamilton for a final two season run in 2001. Paul Mahorn
Paul Gladstone Mahorn (born 13 August 1973) is an English former football forward. He spent 1992 to 1998 with Tottenham Hotspur, but only played three Premier League games, and was also loaned out to Fulham and Burnley. In 1998, he played one game for Port Vale, before moving into non-League circles with Stevenage Borough, Cambridge City, and Cambridge United. Career Mahorn started his career with Tottenham Hotspur and made his Premier League debut on 22 January 1993, in a 2–1 defeat to Swindon Town at the County Ground. He played three Second Division games on loan with Don Mackay's Fulham in the 1993–94 season. He played eight Second Division games whilst on loan with Adrian Heath's Burnley in the 1995–96 season. Warren Joyce
Warren Garton Joyce (born 20 January 1965) is an English football manager and former player, who is currently the lead coach of Nottingham Forest F.C.'s U18 Squad. As a player, he played in The Football League for Bolton Wanderers, Preston North End, Plymouth Argyle, Burnley and Hull City. After taking over as player-manager of Hull City in 1998, he eventually moved to Belgium, where he was appointed manager of Manchester United's feeder club Royal Antwerp in 2006. Jamie Hoyland
Jamie William Hoyland (born 23 January 1966) is an English former footballer who made more than 400 appearances in the Football League and Premier League playing in midfield in the 1980s and 1990s. He then turned to coaching. He is currently chief scout at Sheffield United. His father Tommy Hoyland had also played for Sheffield United from 1949 to 1961. Ian Helliwell (born 7 November 1962) is an English former professional footballer who played as a striker. He played in the Football League for York City, Scunthorpe United, Rotherham United, Stockport County, Burnley, Mansfield Town, Chester City and Doncaster Rovers. Alan Harper (born 1 November 1960, in Liverpool) is an English former professional footballer who played in the Football League and Premier League for Everton, Sheffield Wednesday, Manchester City, Luton Town, Burnley and Cardiff City. Harper is best remembered for playing in the Championship winning Everton side of the mid-1980s. Harper was a utility player whose first-choice position was right-back but he could perform competently in almost any position on the park and he frequently turned up in central defence, at left-back, centre midfield, wide midfield and sometimes even as a makeshift striker. James Robert Glass (born 1 August 1973) is an English former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He is chiefly remembered for scoring the last-minute goal which kept Carlisle United in the Football League in 1999, while on loan from Swindon Town.
