1995–96 Albanian Cup
1995–96 Albanian Cup ( sq, Kupa e Shqipërisë) was the forty-fourth season of Albania's annual cup competition. It began in August 1995 with the First Round and ended in May 1996 with the Final match. The winners of the competition qualified for the 1996-97 first round of the UEFA Cup. Teuta were the defending champions, having won their first Albanian Cup last season. The cup was won by Tirana. The rounds were played in a two-legged format similar to those of European competitions. If the aggregated score was tied after both games, the team with the higher number of away goals advanced. If the number of away goals was equal in both games, the match was decided by extra time and a penalty shootout, if necessary. First round Games were played on August & September 1995. KF Lushnja is an Albanian football (soccer), football club based in the city of Lushnjë in the County of Fier. Their home ground is the Abdurrahman Roza Haxhiu Stadium and they currently compete in the Kategoria e Parë. History Early history The club was originally formed in 1927 and the first football game held in the city of Lushnjë was played shortly after. This was a friendly game against Tomori Berat and the team consisted of young men from Lushnjë. KF Tomori is an Albanian football club based in the city of Berat. The club's home ground is the Tomori Stadium and they currently participate in the Kategoria e Parë. History The sport of football was introduced to the city of Berat in the early 1910s by students who had completed their studies abroad.
