1995 International Formula 3000 Championship
The 1995 International Formula 3000 Championship was contested over eight rounds from May 7th to October 15th 1995. This was the final F3000 season in which teams could use different chassis and engines. At the final race of this season at Magny Cours, Marco Campos was killed after suffering head injuries in a crash. He was the only driver killed in International F3000. Ricardo Rosset
Ricardo Rosset (born 27 July 1968) is a Brazilian racing driver. He participated in 33 Formula One Grands Prix, making his debut at the 1996 Australian Grand Prix. He scored no championship points. He eventually quit Formula One to focus on developing a sportswear business in Brazil. Career Formula Three After graduating from the Formula Opel Euroseries, Rosset competed in the British Formula 3 Championship in 1993 for Alan Docking Racing. He finished joint sixth in the standings, tied with Pedro de la Rosa, with his best finish being one second place at Silverstone. Rosset moved to the AJS team in 1994, and improved to fifth in the standings in a season dominated by Jan Magnussen. He won his first F3 race that year at Snetterton, albeit on an occasion where Magnussen retired. Kenny Bräck
Kenny Bräck (born 21 March 1966) is a Swedish former race car driver. Until his retirement from racing, he competed in the CART, Indy Racing League and the IROC series. He won the 1998 Indy Racing League championship and the 1999 Indianapolis 500, becoming the first Swedish driver to win the race. He survived one of the racing sport's biggest crashes at Texas Motor Speedway in 2003, where he recorded the highest horizontal g-force ever survived by a human being at . Eighteen months later he made a comeback at the Indy 500 and set the fastest qualifying time of the field. He retired from IndyCar racing after the race. In 2009, he made a comeback to rally, competing in Rally X at X-Games 15 and winning Gold. Marcos Gueiros
Marcos Gueiros (born 16 January 1970 in Belém) is a Brazilian racing driver who has competed in the International Formula 3000 series. Gueiros has also raced in various Formula 3 championships in which he won three titles. Career history Gueiros made his auto racing debut in 1990. He competed in five races of the Formula 3 Sudamericana in a Reynard 883. For 1991 Gueiros competed full-time in the championship in a Ralt RT32. This was a successful season resulting in four race wins and a second place in the championship standings. 1991 was also the year Gueiros won the Brazilian Formula Three Championship. The following year the Brazilian driver returned to both series, winning both championships. After racing successes in his home country Gueiros moved to Europe for the 1993 racing season. Marc Goossens, nicknamed The Goose (born 30 November 1969), is a Belgian professional racing driver that currently competes in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, driving the No. 14 Chevrolet Camaro for SpeedHouse in the EuroNASCAR PRO class. Racing career Goossens drove full-time in Formula 3000 from 1994 to 1996 and part-time from 1999 to 2001. In between he drove in endurance races and is a veteran of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Stephen Watson (driver)
Stephen Watson (born 18 February 1973 in Durban, South Africa) is a South African racing driver who tested for the Arrows Formula One team in 1998 to 1999. He also competed in International Formula 3000 for three seasons from 1995 to 1997, scoring top 6 finishes on two occasions. Watson was founding general manager of A1GP, leaving after three years to join the 2010 FIFA World Cup Local Organizing Committee as Tournament Director. In 2009 Watson was Head Hunted by the Gauteng Provincial Government to Head up their international motorsport hosting aspirations. Christophe Tinseau
Christophe Tinseau (born 18 December 1969) is a French racing driver from Orléans. Tinseau began racing professionally in French Formula Renault in 1991. In 1992 he moved to French Formula Three and in 1993 he placed 4th in that championship with 2 wins and finished 10th in the Macau Grand Prix. In 1994 he was the championship runner-up in French F3 and in 1995 he moved up to Formula 3000 where he finished 16th with 7 race starts. In 1996 he improved to 6th in F3000, winning the season-ending race at Hockenheim. In 1997 he raced in Indy Lights but only managed an 11th place championship finish, ending up on the podium once at Circuit Trois-Rivières. Judd is a brand of racing car engines built by Engine Developments Ltd., a company founded in 1971 by John Judd and Jack Brabham in Rugby, Warwickshire, England.
