Michel Dupuy, (born January 11, 1930) is a Canadian diplomat, journalist, academic and politician. Born in Paris, France, his father was Pierre Dupuy who was also a Canadian diplomat. Dupuy was a long time diplomat in the Department of External Affairs. He served as Ambassador to the United Nations from 1980 to 1981, and Ambassador to France from 1981 to 1985. He subsequently entered politics and was defeated in his attempt to win a seat in the House of Commons of Canada in the 1988 election. He was elected on his second attempt in the 1993 election as the Liberal Member of Parliament for Laval West. He immediately joined the Cabinet, serving concurrently as Minister of Communications and Minister of Multiculturalism and Citizenship from 1993 until January 1996. Meredith Douglas Young, (born September 20, 1940 in Tracadie, New Brunswick) is a Canadian politician both provincial and federal spanning two decades. Allan Rock
Allan Michael Rock (born August 30, 1947) is a Canadian lawyer, former politician, diplomat and university administrator. He was Canada's ambassador to the United Nations (2004–2006) and had previously served in the Cabinet of Jean Chrétien, most notably as Justice Minister (1993–1997) and Health Minister (1997–2002). Rock was appointed as president and vice-chancellor of the University of Ottawa by its board of governors on June 3, 2008. His term began on July 15, 2008, and it ended on July 1, 2016. Rock was subsequently designed president emeritus. Rock joined the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law in 2018, where he is currently a full professor specializing in subjects related to international law (notably international humanitarian law). Marcel Massé (born June 23, 1940) is a Canadian politician and civil servant. Biography Massé was born in Montreal, Quebec in 1940 and graduated from McGill University and Pembroke College, Oxford (as Rhodes Scholar in 1963). He served as Clerk of the Privy Council in 1979 during the government of Prime Minister Joe Clark. In his distinguished public service career, he also served as President of the Canadian International Development Agency, on two occasions; was undersecretary for external affairs; and represented Canada as its executive director at the International Monetary Fund, World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank.
