1995 All-Pacific-10 Conference Football Team
The 1995 All-Pacific-10 Conference football team consisted of American football players chosen by various organizations for All-Pac-12 Conference, Pacific-10 Conference teams for the 1995 Pacific-10 Conference football season. American Football
American football (referred to simply as football in the United States and Canada), also known as gridiron, is a team sport played by two teams of eleven players on a rectangular field with goalposts at each end. The offense, the team with possession of the oval-shaped football, attempts to advance down the field by running with the ball or passing it, while the defense, the team without possession of the ball, aims to stop the offense's advance and to take control of the ball for themselves. Abdul-Karim Al-Jabbar
Abdul-Karim al-Jabbar (born Sharmon Shah; June 28, 1974), known previously as Karim Abdul-Jabbar, is an American former professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL). Al-Jabbar played college football for the UCLA Bruins. He was drafted in the third round of the 1996 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins. He also played for the Cleveland Browns and Indianapolis Colts. Reginald Clinton Tongue (born April 11, 1973) is a former American football safety. Early life Tongue attended Lathrop High School in Fairbanks, Alaska. As a senior for Lathrop, Tongue played running back/defensive back and rushed for 932 yards and 12 scores. On defense, he had 11 interceptions. He was named 1990 Alaska football player of the year and signed a letter of intent to play RB for Oregon State University. Duane Clemons
Duane Anthony Clemons (born May 23, 1974) is a former American Football defensive end who played in the National Football League between 1996 and 2005. He was a first-round selection in the 1996 NFL Draft out of the University of California, Berkeley by the Minnesota Vikings. He finished his NFL career with 49.5 sacks. Despite struggling to see the field as a starter (16 starts in 4 years with Minnesota), Clemons proved a very capable sack artist. Regan Charles Upshaw (born August 12, 1975) is a former American football defensive tackle who played in the National Football League (NFL) between 1996 and 2004. He was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the 1996 NFL Draft out of the University of California, Berkeley. In high school, Upshaw played for Pittsburg High School (Pittsburg, California), helping defeat the previously undefeated De La Salle in the 1991 NCS championship game played at the Oakland Coliseum. The final score was 35-27. This was the last defeat De La Salle suffered before setting a national high school record of 151 straight victories. Juan Armando Roque (born February 6, 1974) is a former American college and professional football player who was an offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football for Arizona State University, and earned All-American honors. Charles Wayne Osborne Jr. (November 2, 1973 – October 16, 2012) was an American football defensive tackle who played five seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the St. Louis Rams and Oakland Raiders.
