The 1995 All-Atlantic Coast Conference football team consists of American football players chosen by various selectors for their All- Atlantic Coast Conference ("ACC") teams for the 1995 college football season. Selectors in 1995 included the Associated Press (AP). American football (referred to simply as football in the United States and Canada), also known as gridiron, is a team sport played by two teams of eleven players on a rectangular field with goalposts at each end. The offense, the team with possession of the oval-shaped football, attempts to advance down the field by running with the ball or passing it, while the defense, the team without possession of the ball, aims to stop the offense's advance and to take control of the ball for themselves. The offense must advance at least ten yards in four downs or plays; if they fail, they turn over the football to the defense, but if they succeed, they are given a new set of four downs to continue the drive. Tiki Barber
Atiim Kiambu "Tiki" Barber (; born April 7, 1975) is an American former football running back who played for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL) for ten seasons. He played college football for the University of Virginia. Barber was drafted by the Giants in the second round of the 1997 NFL Draft, and played his entire professional career for the team. Barber retired from the NFL at the end of the 2006 NFL postseason as the Giants' all-time rushing and reception leader. Barber was inducted into the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame in 2011. Ray Farmer
Harvey Ray Farmer (born July 1, 1974) is an American football executive and former linebacker who is a scouting consultant for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He is the former general manager of the Cleveland Browns, having served in that role from 2014 to 2015. Farmer has also previously served with the Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons in their scouting departments. Playing career Farmer played free safety at Duke University from 1992 to 1996. He was all- Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) twice, and as a senior, he led the team in tackles with 111 and played in two collegiate all-star games. After graduation with a degree in sociology, he was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth round of the 1996 draft, and played three seasons at linebacker. Anthony Simmons (American Football)
Anthony Lamont Simmons (born June 20, 1976) is a former American college and professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons. He played college football for Clemson University, and earned All-American honors. He was drafted in the first round of the 1998 NFL Draft, and he played professionally for the Seattle Seahawks, and briefly, the New Orleans Saints of the NFL. Early years Simmons was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He attended Spartanburg High School, where he played for the Spartanburg Vikings high school football team and helped lead the Vikings to their first of three consecutive state championships. Jermaine Edward Lewis (born October 16, 1974) is an American former professional American football, football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected in the fifth round (153rd overall) of the 1996 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens, who he played for until 2001. With the Ravens, he won Super Bowl XXXV over the New York Giants. Kivuusama Mays (born January 7, 1975) is a former linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). Biography Mays was born on January 7, 1975, in Anniston, Alabama. Career Kivuusama was drafted in the fourth round of the 1998 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings and played that season with the team. Brian Patrick Dawkins Sr. (born October 13, 1973) is an American former football safety who played 16 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), primarily with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played college football at Clemson and was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the 1996 NFL Draft. In his last three seasons, he played for the Denver Broncos. Jamael Orondé "Rondé" Barber (born April 7, 1975) is an American former football cornerback who spent his entire 16-year professional career playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). Percy Daniel Ellsworth III (born October 19, 1974) is a former American football Safety (American football position), safety in the National Football League (NFL) for the New York Giants and Cleveland Browns. Ellsworth joined the Giants as an undrafted free agent in 1996 after playing college football at the University of Virginia. He was teammates with Tiki Barber at both Virginia and with the Giants.
