1994–95 Juventus FC Season
Juventus Football Club won the league title for the first time in nine years. The Scudetto was won in the wake of defender Andrea Fortunato's death from cancer during the course of the season. The title was dedicated to the 23-year-old, who had been established in the starting line-up before he got sick. This first Serie A success since the 1985–86 season was accompanied by a Coppa Italia win over Parma. The Turin club won both legs, 1–0 at the Stadio delle Alpi and 2–0 at the Stadio Ennio Tardini. In the UEFA Cup, Juventus again met Parma in the final, having previously beaten Borussia Dortmund. This time, however, Juventus were defeated by Parma (0–1, 1–1), thus denying them a season treble. Paulo Sousa
Paulo Manuel Carvalho de Sousa (; born 30 August 1970) is a Portuguese football manager and former professional player who played as a defensive midfielder. He is the current manager of UAE Pro League club Shabab Al Ahli. Starting his career at Benfica, he also represented Sporting CP in his country, where he amassed Primeira Liga totals of 117 matches and three goals in five years. From there onwards, he competed mainly in Italy and Germany, winning the Champions League with Juventus and Borussia Dortmund and the Intercontinental Cup with the latter side. Injuries severely hampered his later career. Sousa was a member of Portugal's "Golden Generation", and appeared with the national team at the 2002 World Cup and two European Championships. Angelo Di Livio
Angelo Di Livio (; born 26 July 1966) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder and wing-back. He represented several Italian clubs in Serie A throughout his career, coming to prominence with Juventus, where he won several domestic and international titles. At international level he also played for the Italy national side in two FIFA World Cups and two UEFA European Championships, reaching the final of UEFA Euro 2000. During his playing career he was known as ''soldatino'' (toy soldier) or ''soldatino Di Livio'', a nickname his Juventus teammate at the time Roberto Baggio gave him because of Di Livio's diminutive stature, posture, and characteristic way of running up and down the flank. Robert Jarni
Robert Jarni (born 26 October 1968) is a Croatian former professional footballer who played as a left winger or wingback. Jarni started his professional career with Hajduk Split in 1986, and went on to spend 10 years playing for various clubs in Italy and Spain before finishing his career as a player in Greece with Panathinaikos in 2002. He was a regular in the Croatia national football team between 1990 and 2002, winning a total of 80 international caps for Croatia and being the national team's record cap holder until June 2006, when his record was beaten by Dario Šimić. Prior to Croatia's independence, he also won seven international caps for the Yugoslavia. Alessandro Orlando
Alessandro Orlando (born 1 June 1970) is an Italian former professional footballer who played a defender. A quick, talented, energetic, and dynamic offensive left-back, with a powerful shot and good technique, he excelled at providing long passes and crosses to forwards and at making attacking runs down the flank. Despite his offensive and creative prowess, he was inconsistent at times, however, and was less effective defensively, as he often struggled in one on one situations with forwards. A predominantly left-footed player, he was also an accurate free-kick taker.
