Blue Heelers
''Blue Heelers'' is an Australian police drama series that was produced by Southern Star Group and ran for 12 years on the Seven Network, from 1994 to 2006. Although based around the policing of the town, the series generally depicted the everyday lives and relationships of the residents of Mount Thomas, a fictional small town in Victoria. The series was one of the highest-rated and most-awarded programs in the history of Australian television, having won 25 Logie awards, it is equal as the most awarded show in Logies history with ''The Don Lane Show''. It is also noted for its two main stars Lisa McCune, a four-time recipient of the Gold Logie, and John Wood, who also won Gold. It was produced by Telemagination, based in London, and La Fabrique, based in Montpellier in France, but also aired in other European countries. The first countries to air the series were Norway, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Italy and the United Kingdom, in January 1993. Allen Kelsey Grammer (born February 21, 1955) is an American actor and producer. ''Mother and Son'' is an Australian television sitcom that was broadcast on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) from 16 January 1984 until 21 March 1994. The show stars Ruth Cracknell, Garry McDonald, Henri Szeps and Judy Morris. It featured many Australian actors of the time in guest roles. It was created and written by Geoffrey Atherden. Its theme song features the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, playing to "I Want a Girl", a jazz standard which was recorded by Al Jolson in the 1920s. ''What's Up Doc?'' was a children's program which aired on the Nine Network in Australia from 31 July 1993 until 24 December 1999. It centred on the showing of Warner Bros. cartoons and hosted segments with additional original elements. It followed on from ''The Bugs Bunny Show'', a similar program hosted by Sophie Lee, which aired from 1990 until 1992. History It originally aired on Saturday mornings from 9:00am until 11:00am, before moving to weekdays at 4:30pm for half an hour beginning in February 12, 1996. The show was filmed in studio on the same styled set for the whole run of the show, starting at Nine's Richmond, Victoria studios, before moving to studios in Willoughby, New South Wales.
