The 1994 Mjólkurbikarinn was the 35th season of the Icelandic national football cup. It started on 31 May 1994 and concluded with the final on 28 August 1994. The winners qualified for the qualifying round of the 1995–96 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. Knattspyrnufélag Reykjavíkur (Reykjavík Football Club), often shortened to KR or KR Reykjavík, is an Icelandic football club based in the Vesturbær district of the capital, Reykjavík. KR is the oldest and most successful club in Icelandic football, having won the Besta deild karla championship 27 times, including the first season in 1912. It is also the most successful club in the Icelandic men's Cup, with 14 titles including the first in 1960 and most recent in 2014. UMFS Dalvík
UMFS Dalvík (officially named Ungmennafélag Svarfdæla, usually referred to as Dalvík, previously referred to as Svarfdælir) is an Icelandic sports club located in Dalvík. The club has had competitors in various sports in Iceland, most notably football, athletics and basketball. The club currently has no senior football team but is part of the Dalvík/Reynir cooperation and has youth teams playing in national competitions. Dalvík has also had teams playing in national handball and volleyball leagues. Reynir Sandgerði, sometimes known as Reynir S., is an Icelandic sports club based in Sandgerði on the Reykjanes peninsular. The club has active departments in football, basketball and swimming. Basketball Reynir Sandgerði's basketball department was founded in 1980. It played in the top-tier Úrvalsdeild karla during the 1989–1990 season. The Haukar men's football team is the men's football department of the Haukar multi-sport club. It is based in Hafnarfjörður, Iceland, and currently plays in the 1. deild karla, the second-tier men's football league in Iceland. In 2010, the team was promoted to the top-tier Úrvalsdeild karla for the first time in 31 years. Ungmennafélagið Sindri, commonly known as Sindri, is an Icelandic multi-sports club from the town of Höfn located on the east coast of Iceland. It fields departments in basketball, football, gymnastics, swimming, track & field and volleyball. Íþróttafélagið Leiknir, commonly known as Leiknir Reykjavík, is an Icelandic multi-sports club. It is best known for its men's football team that plays in 1. deild karla (football), 1. deild karla, the second tier of Icelandic football, but also fields departments in Badminton, basketball, volleyball and karate. Knattspyrnufélag Fjallabyggðar (KF) is an Icelandic football club from the towns Ólafsfjörður and Siglufjörður who form the municipality Fjallabyggð, currently playing in the 2. deild karla. Their main colours are blue and white as a tertiary. Magni Grenivík
Magni Grenivík is an Icelandic sports club from the village of Grenivík, mainly known for its football team. The club has a football team currently playing in the second tier of Icelandic football also known as Inkasso-deild karla. Magni was founded in 1915 by Magnús Björnsson making it one of the oldest teams in Icelandic football history. Stadium Magni play their matches at Grenivíkurvöllur but also play at Boginn in Akureyri if the pitch condition is poor as is common during the preseason. Seating and the new facilities were installed at Grenivíkurvöllur due to their promotion to the second tier of Icelandic football.
