Jürgen Rische (born 30 October 1970) is a retired German football striker and current coach. He played for 1. FC Lokomotive (later VfB) Leipzig, 1. Alexander Opoku
Alexander Opoku (born 31 August 1974) is a Ghanaian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Opoku played in Ghana for Brong Ahafo United from age 15, before moving to Germany where he joined VfB Leipzig. With Leipzig he played in the Bundesliga, making 10 appearances and scoring one goal. He made his debut in the 1993–94 season, coming off the bench in the 75th minute for Matthias Liebers against Eintracht Frankfurt on the eleventh matchday, as the match would finish in a 2–1 loss. Opoku's other appearances in the Bundesliga also remained winless, as Leipzig finished bottom of the table with only 17 points. After being relegated to the 2. Matthias Liebers (born 22 November 1958 in Leipzig) is a former German professional footballer. Liebers joined to BSG Lokomotive Leipzig-Mitte in 1965 when he was seven years old and played for three years there. In 1968, he was brought to the performance centre of 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig in Probstheida and began his youth career. In July 1974 he won the silver medal at Jugendturnier der V. DDR- Spartakiade in Rostock with Leipzig's junior youth squad. The Leipzig squad fought against Halle in the finale and lost with 2–5. Liebers was selected to the Spartakiade-Elf. In 1977 Liebers won the DDR-Nachwuchsoberliga. 1. Steffen Heidrich (born 19 July 1967) is a German former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. Career As a player In his youth Steffen Heidrich played for BSG Messgeräte Beierfeld and in 1980 he began his career with FC Karl-Marx-Stadt, and quickly became an important first-team player, as the club enjoyed relative success in the late 1980s. He earned one cap for East Germany, as a substitute for Rico Steinmann in a match against Egypt shortly before reunification. From December 1984, Heidrich played 128 games for FCK and its successor Chemnitzer FC in the GDR Oberliga, scoring 31 goals. Dieter-Klaus Hecking (; born 12 September 1964) is a German football manager for 1. FC Nürnberg and former professional player. He played for Hannover 96 and Eintracht Braunschweig. He returned to manage Hannover despite the long-standing and bitter rivalry between the two clubs. Managerial career Early career (2000–2004) On 1 July 2000, Hecking moved into management as he took over as manager at Regionalliga Nord outfit SC Verl.
