The 1993 ITU Triathlon World Cup was a series of triathlon races organised by the International Triathlon Union (ITU) for elite-level triathletes. There were nine races held in seven countries, all of them held over a distance of 1500 m swim, 40 km cycle, 10 km run (an Olympic-distance triathlon). Brad Beven
Bradley William Beven (born 18 September 1969) is a retired triathlete from Mirriwinni, Cairns Region, Queensland Australia. Hall of Fame In 2009 Beven was inducted into the Queensland Sport Hall of Fame. Personal life Brad Bevan lived in Mirriwini. He attended St Augustine's College (Queensland), St Augustines College in Cairns. He still holds numerous records at the college. Oscar Galíndez
Oscar Saul Galíndez (born June 5, 1971, in Río Tercero, Córdoba, Argentina) is a triathlete. He competed in the first Olympic triathlon at the 2000 Summer Olympics, obtaining the twenty-eighth place with a total time of 1:50:59.48. Galíndez, began in triathlon when his was 16 year old. He soon was able to win the Hexa-championship "Trofeu Brasil de Triatlo" and Duathlon World Championship. In 1995, Galíndez decided to move and live in Brazil, where the training and races conditions were better than in Argentina. Oscar has won innumerable victories that have made him build a great sporting career with more than 29 years of victories, becoming the foremost Argentinean in his specialty and one of the best triathletes in Latin America, as well as in the world. Athletic career Bright won Le Race, a road bicycle race in Canterbury, New Zealand, in early 2000. He competed at the first Olympic triathlon at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. He ended up finishing in thirty-eighth place with a total time of 1:52:17.26. Coaching Later on, Bright became a coach of Mantas, a local swim club in Hong Kong. After training several outstanding swimmers, including an Olympian and Hong Kong age group record breakers, he accepted an opportunity to coach a triathlon at Loughborough University in England. In 1994 she won three of the 10 races that made up the ITU Triathlon World Cup, and in 1995 she was the world long-distance champion. Melissa Mantak (born 1962) is a triathlete and triathlon coach from the United States. In 2010 she was named USA Triathlon's National Coach of the Year. Biography Mantak completed a master's degree in sport sciences at the University of Denver. She completed her first triathlon in 1984, while at university.
