1993 European Cup Final
The 1993 UEFA Champions League Final was a football match between French club Marseille and Italian club Milan, played on 26 May 1993 at the Olympiastadion in Munich. The final, which followed the second-ever UEFA Champions League group stage, saw Ivorian-born Marseille defender Basile Boli score the only goal of the match in the 43rd minute with a header to give ''l'OM'' their first European Cup title. It was the first time a French team had won the European Cup. No other French side – apart from Monaco-based AS Monaco, who play in the French league system – would reach the final until Paris Saint-Germain in 2020. Marseille and their club president Bernard Tapie would later be found to have been involved in a match-fixing scandal during the 1992–93 season (in which Marseille allegedly paid Valenciennes to lose a match), which saw them relegated to Division 2 and banned from participation in European football for the following season. As the scandal affected only Frenc ...

Israel and the Faroe Islands were also represented for the first time. The tournament was won for the first time by Marseille, defeating Milan in the final, becoming the first and as of 2022 only French team to win the European Cup/Champions League. However, soon after Marseille's victory allegations of match fixing were levelled at them and their president Bernard Tap ...

Ankle Injury
A sprained ankle, also known as a twisted ankle or rolled ankle, is an injury where sprain occurs on one or more ligaments of the ankle. It is the most common injury to occur in ball sports, such as basketball, volleyball, football, and racquet sports. Signs and symptoms Knowing the symptoms that can be experienced with a sprain is important in determining that the injury is not really a break in the bone. When a sprain occurs, hematoma occurs within the tissue that surrounds the joint, causing a bruise. White blood cells responsible for inflammation migrate to the area, and blood flow increases as well. Along with this inflammation, swelling and pain is experienced. The nerves in the area become more sensitive when the injury is suffered, so pain is felt as throbbing and will worsen if there is pressure placed on the area. Warmth and redness are also seen as blood flow is increased. Also there is a decreased ability to move the joint. Image:Freshspraininbrace.JPG, Right ...
