Soo Beng Kiang (, born 19 March 1968) is a former badminton player from Malaysia. Career He had played with different pairs such as Cheah Soon Kit (1990–1994) and Tan Kim Her (1995-1996). Soo competed in badminton at the 1996 Summer Olympics in men's doubles with Tan Kim Her. They defeated the no.3 seeds Rudy Gunawan and Bambang Suprianto of Indonesia in the last 16. In the semi-final, they lost to the eventual gold medalist, Rexy Mainaky and Ricky Subagja of Indonesia. Eliza Nathanael (born 27 May 1973) is an Indonesian retired badminton player who specialized in doubles events. Career A solid international level player throughout the 1990s, Nathanael had most of her early success in mixed doubles. She won titles at the China (1992), Hong Kong (1992), Thailand (1992), and French (1993) Opens with Aryono Miranat. They were bronze medalists at the 1993 IBF World Championships in Birmingham, England. Aryono Miranat
Aryono Miranat (born 27 April 1964) is a retired badminton player from Indonesia who specialized in mixed doubles. After his retirement he became a badminton trainer at PB Djarum in Kudus. As of 29 December 2007, he is a coach in the men's doubles category for the Indonesian badminton association (PBSI). He is currently the Indonesia national team men's doubles assistant coach. Career Miranat competed at the 1989 Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur, won two silver medals in the mixed doubles and team events, also a bronze in the men's doubles. Lili Tampi (born 19 May 1970) is an Indonesian retired badminton player who specialized in doubles. Career Tampi won mixed doubles at the 1996 Asian Championships with Tri Kusharjanto, however most of her titles came in women's doubles with her regular partner Finarsih. These included the Dutch Open (1993), the World Badminton Grand Prix (1993), the Indonesia (1993, 1994), the Chinese Taipei Open (1994), and the Badminton World Cup (1994). Tampi and Finarsih were silver medalists at the 1995 IBF World Championships in Lausanne, Switzerland. Aadijatmiko Christina Finarsih (born 8 February 1972) is a retired badminton player from Indonesia who specialized in women's doubles. Career Finarsih won a number of significant international titles during the 1990s, most of them with regular partner Lili Tampi. These included the Dutch Open (1993), the World Badminton Grand Prix (1993), the Indonesia Open (1993, 1994), the Chinese Taipei Open (1994), and the Badminton World Cup (1994). Gil Young-ah
Gil Young-ah (born April 11, 1970 in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do) is a former female badminton player from South Korea. At the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, she won the bronze medal in the women's doubles together with Shim Eun-jung. Four years later, at the Atlanta, Georgia, Atlanta 1996 Summer Olympics, Olympics, she won the gold medal in the mixed doubles together with Kim Dong-moon and the silver medal in the women's doubles together with Jang Hye-ock. Gil retired from badminton after the 1996 Olympics and became an assistant coach of the Samsung Electro-Mechanics badminton team. Chung So-young
Chung So-young (; born 20 February 1967) is a former badminton player from South Korea. She was a gold medalist at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992 in the women's doubles together with Hwang Hye-young, and was inducted into the Badminton Hall of Fame in 2003. Career Chung started to representing South Korea in the international tournament in November 1984. She won a bronze medal at the 1987 World Championships in the women's doubles with Kim Yun-ja.
