1992–93 FIBA Korać Cup
The 1992–93 FIBA Korać Cup was the 22nd edition of FIBA's Korać Cup basketball competition. The Italian Philips Milano defeated the Italian Virtus Roma in the final. This was the second consecutive year in which the final two teams were both Italian and the third consecutive Italian victory. It was Philips Milano's second time winning the title following a victory in 1985 playing as Simac Milano. FIBA Korać Cup
The FIBA Korać Cup was an annual basketball club competition held by FIBA between the 1971–72 and 2001–02 seasons. It was the third-tier level club competition in European basketball, after the FIBA European Champions' Cup (later renamed the EuroLeague) and the FIBA Cup Winners' Cup (later renamed the FIBA Saporta Cup). The last Korać Cup season was held during the 2001–02 season. History The Korać Cup was named after the legendary Yugoslav player Radivoj Korać, killed in 1969 in a car accident near Sarajevo. Asociația Club Sportiv Poli Timișoara (), commonly known as ACS Poli Timișoara, Poli Timișoara or simply ACS Poli, was a Romanian professional football club based in the city of Timișoara, Timiș County. The team was founded in 2012, the year the old FC Politehnica Timișoara went bankrupt. BC Prievidza is a professional basketball club based in playing in Prievidza, Slovakia. The team plays in the Slovak Extraliga. The club plays home games in the sports hall Niké Arena. History The team was founded in 1947 under the name Sokol Prievizda. In 1989 the club won its first ever title in the Czechoslovak Championship.
