The 1992 NCAA Division II football season, part of college football in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association at the Division II level, began in August 1992, and concluded with the NCAA Division II Football Championship on December 12, 1992, at Braly Municipal Stadium in Florence, Alabama, hosted by the University of North Alabama. The Jacksonville State Gamecocks defeated the , 17–13, to win their first Division II national title. The Harlon Hill Trophy was awarded to Ronald Moore, running back from Pittsburg State. Braly Municipal Stadium
Tom Braly Municipal Stadium is a 14,215-seat stadium in Florence, Alabama. It is primarily used for American football, and is the home field of the University of North Alabama Lions and the Florence High School Falcons. It also hosted the NCAA Division II Football Championship games from 1986–2013, which were broadcast on ESPN. UNA holds a 252-114-8 record at Braly Stadium. It has also hosted 30 of UNA's 47 Division II Playoff games. Name The stadium is a block east of the university campus and adjacent to the Florence Middle School. The middle school was formerly Coffee High School, but was transformed in 2004 when Florence's two public high schools merged. West Chester Golden Rams Football
The West Chester Golden Rams represent West Chester University of Pennsylvania, which is located in West Chester, Pennsylvania, in intercollegiate sports. Northern State Wolves Football
The Northern State Wolves are the athletic teams that represent Northern State University, located in Aberdeen, South Dakota, U.S., in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Wolves compete as members of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference for all 13 varsity sports. Northern State has been a member of the conference since 1978, and they also have the fifth-smallest enrollment of the 16 member schools. The Grand Valley State Lakers football team represents Grand Valley State University (GVSU) in NCAA Division II football. The team currently competes in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and was once affiliated with the now defunct Midwest Intercollegiate Football Conference. The Ferris State Bulldogs (FSU Bulldogs) are the athletic teams that represent Ferris State University, located in Big Rapids, Michigan, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sporting competitions.
