The 1992 Lafayette Leopards football team was an American football team that represented Lafayette College during the 1992 NCAA Division I-AA football season. The Leopards won the Patriot League championship. In their 12th year under head coach Bill Russo, the Leopards compiled an 8–3 record. Tom Kirchoff and Kevin McManus were the team captains. The Leopards outscored opponents 382 to 282. Their undefeated (5–0) conference record placed first in the six-team Patriot League standings. Lafayette played its home games at Fisher Field on College Hill in Easton, Pennsylvania. Bill Russo (American Football)
William John Russo (June 19, 1947 – September 29, 2021) was an American football coach. He served as the head football at Wagner College from 1978 to 1980 and at Lafayette College from 1981 to 1999. In 23 seasons as a head coach, Russo compiled a 118–113–4 overall record. In 1988, 1992 and 1994 Russo coached the Lafayette Leopards to outright Patriot League conference titles. The 1992 Cornell Big Red football team was an American football team that represented Cornell University during the 1992 NCAA Division I-AA football season. Cornell finished fourth in the Ivy League. In its third season under head coach Jim Hofher, the team compiled a 7–3 record and outscored opponents 263 to 183. Team captains were John Massy, Scott Oliaro and Jeff Woodring. Crown Field at Andy Kerr Stadium is a 10,221-seat multi-purpose stadium in Hamilton, New York, United States. It is the home of Colgate University's football and men's lacrosse teams. Colgate opened the stadium in 1939, originally as Colgate Athletic Field. Colgate's football teams – then known as the Red Raiders and competing at the highest level of NCAA play – were coached during the stadium's inaugural year by Andy Kerr, who led the team from 1929 to 1946. The stadium adopted the name Andy Kerr Stadium on "Andy Kerr Day" on September 17, 1966, before a crowd of 8,000. Coffey Field
Jack Coffey Field is a 7,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in the northeast United States, located on the campus of Fordham University in The Bronx, New York. It is the Fordham Rams' home for football, men's and women's soccer, and baseball. The facility opened for baseball in 1930, and was named in 1954 for baseball coach and longtime athletic director Jack Coffey, four years before his 1958 retirement. Starting in 1964, students began using the left field and center field area for their club football team. The team was sponsored by the students themselves and it was these same students who rented temporary wooden stands, to be set around the gridiron, for the 1964 and 1965 seasons. The university stepped in to build permanent wooden stands behind the left field fence, which served as a grandstand for football. Michie Stadium is an outdoor football stadium on the campus of the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, New York. The home field for the Army Black Knights, it opened in 1924 and has a current seating capacity of 38,000. The stadium sits at the upper portion of campus, directly west of Lusk Reservoir.
