1992 Intercontinental Cup
The 1992 Intercontinental Cup was an association football match played on 13 December 1992, between FC Barcelona, winners of the 1991–92 European Cup, and São Paulo, winners of the 1992 Copa Libertadores. The match was played at the National Stadium in Tokyo. It was both Barcelona and São Paulo's first appearances into the competition. São Paulo won the match 2–1. Raí was named as man of the match. Ronald Koeman
Ronald Koeman (; born 21 March 1963) is a Dutch professional football manager and former player. He is the younger brother of his former international teammate Erwin Koeman and the son of former Dutch international Martin Koeman. Koeman was capable of playing both as a defender and as a midfielder; he frequently played as a sweeper, although he was equally known for his goalscoring, long–range shooting, and accuracy from free kicks and penalties. Juan Carlos Rodríguez Moreno (born 19 January 1965), known as Juan Carlos, is a Spanish retired professional footballer who played as a left-back. Club career Juan Carlos was born in Puente Castro, León. During his career, he represented Real Valladolid (two spells, to kickstart and end his 15-year spell as a professional), Atlético Madrid, FC Barcelona and Valencia CF. Carles Busquets Barroso (; born 19 July 1967) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper, mostly for Barcelona. Michael Laudrup
Michael Laudrup (, born 15 June 1964) is a Danish professional football coach and former player. He is considered to be one of the greatest players of all time. He is the older brother of fellow retired footballer Brian Laudrup. Richard Peter Witschge (born 20 September 1969) is a Dutch former footballer who played as a midfielder. He was known for his technique and passing ability. In an 18-year professional career he played mainly for Ajax, but also represented, amongst other clubs, Barcelona. In 11 seasons in the Eredivisie, he amassed totals of 226 matches and 15 goals.
