Richfield Coliseum
Richfield Coliseum, also known as the Coliseum at Richfield, was an indoor arena located in Richfield Township, between Cleveland and Akron, Ohio. It opened in 1974 as a replacement for the Cleveland Arena, and had a seating capacity of 20,273 for basketball. It was the main arena for the Northeast Ohio region until 1994, when it was replaced by Gund Arena in downtown Cleveland. The Coliseum stood vacant for five years before it was purchased and demolished in 1999 by the National Park Service. The site of the building was converted to a meadow and is now part of Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The arena was primarily the home to the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA), developed by Cavaliers owner Nick Mileti, who also owned the Cleveland Crusaders of the World Hockey Association. George LaFrance
George Herbert LaFrance III (born September 24, 1965) is a former Arena Football League offensive specialist. In a playing career lasting twelve years, he played for the Detroit Drive (1988-1993), the Tampa Bay Storm (1994-1999), and the New Jersey Red Dogs (2000). Mark Guy
Mark Guy (born January 28, 1964) is a former American football wide receiver who played three seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL) with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Calgary Stampeders. He played college football at University of Tennessee at Martin. He was also a member of the Detroit Drive of the Arena Football League (AFL). Professional career Saskatchewan Roughriders Guy signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in March 1989. He played in seven games for the Roughriders during the 1989 season, catching seven passes for 144 yards and one touchdown. He also recorded four receptions for 100 yards in the 77th Grey Cup, a 43-40 win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on November 26, 1989. Kenneth Harper (arena Football)
Kenneth Harper (1913–1998) was an English film producer. He produced 13 films between 1954 and 1973. He was a member of the jury at the 21st Berlin International Film Festival. He produced the first films of Peter Yates and Ken Russell and four films starring Cliff Richard. Gilbert Renfroe (born February 18, 1963) is an American former gridiron football quarterback. Early career Renfroe played college football at Tennessee State University from 1982 to 1985. With the Tennessee State Tigers, he finished fourth all-time in total offensive yards and passing yards. After going undrafted and unsigned by the National Football League, he signed in 1986 with the Ottawa Rough Riders of the Canadian Football League. he was traded to the Toronto Argonauts for the 1987 season, where he split the Argos starting job with fellow rookie John Congemi.
