1992 Croatian Second Football League
The 1992 Croatian Second Football League was the first season of second-division football in Croatia. The league consisted of 24 teams organized into four geographic groups: ''Jug'' (South, 8 teams), ''Sjever'' (North, 7 teams), ''Zapad'' (West, 4 teams), and ''Istok'' (East, 5 teams). Before the competition started, Metalac Sisak were excluded from the north region, and the east region did not play any games due to the war. The winners of each group played in a three-team playoff to determine the champion, won by NK Radnik Velika Gorica. The league consisted of teams from the third and fourth Yugoslavian division who were not admitted to the 1992 Croatian First Football League. Croatian Second Football League
The Druga nogometna liga ( eng, Second football league), commonly Druga NL or 2. NL) is the third tier of the football league system. The league was established in 1991 following the dissolution of the Yugoslav League. It is operated by the Croatian Football Federation. It was previously known as the Third Football League, but was renamed with the other leagues for the start of the 2022–23 season. Rules , at least three players under 21 years of age must play in each match, and only two foreign nationals are permitted to play for each team. Radnički nogometni klub Split, commonly known as RNK Split, is a Croatian football club based in the city of Split. History The club had a strong fanbase in the Split's shipyard. The club was founded on 16 April 1912 as Anarch, but has had several names like Borac, Jug, HAŠK, Dalmatinac, and Arsenal since then. Nogometni Klub Primorac 1929 ( en, Football Club Primorac 1929), commonly referred to as Primorac Stobreč, is a Croatian football club based in the small coastal town of Stobreč near the city of Split in central Dalmatia. They are members of the 3. HNL South, one of five third level divisions in the Croatian football league system. The Croatian War of Independence was fought from 1991 to 1995 between Croat forces loyal to the Government of Croatia—which had declared independence from the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY)—and the Serb-controlled Yugoslav People's Army (JNA) and local Serb forces, with the JNA ending its combat operations in Croatia by 1992. NK Trešnjevka
Nogometni klub Trešnjevka is a professional association football club from the city of Zagreb that is situated in Croatia. Formed in 1926 under the name Panonija, since 1929 the clubs has been known as Trešnjevka. It was promoted to the Yugoslav First League in 1963 and played a European competition that same season. However, Trešnjevka never had high results in its three-year stay in the top flight (11th, 14th and 16th). After relegation in 1966, the club never returned to the First League again. NK Karlovac
NK Karlovac 1919 is a Croatian football club based in the town of Karlovac. Karlovac plays their home matches at Stadion Branko Čavlović-Čavlek. NK Neretvanac Opuzen
NK Neretvanac Opuzen is a Croatian football team from Opuzen founded in 1932 currently playing in the Treća HNL. Neretvanac played four seasons in the Croatian second division in the 1990s. The club is named after the river which runs through Opuzen. History In 1976, Neretvanac hosted Hajduk Split in a friendly organised after Opuzen fans sent in over 50,000 coupons to match sponsor Slobodna Dalmacija. Hajduk won 6:0 in front of 6,000 spectators, which was noted to be twice the number the population of Opuzen at the time.
