1992 Copa CONMEBOL Finals
The 1992 Copa CONMEBOL Finals were the final two-legged series that decided the winner of 1992 Copa CONMEBOL, the first edition of this international competition. The finals were contested by Clube Atlético Mineiro of Brazil and Club Olimpia of Paraguay. The matches were held at the Mineirão, in Belo Horizonte, and at Estadio Manuel Ferreira, in Asunción. Atlético Mineiro won the tie 2–1 to claim its first title in the competition, and qualified for the 1993 Copa de Oro and the 1993 Copa CONMEBOL through its victory. Oriente Petrolero
Club Deportivo Oriente Petrolero () is a Bolivian football club based in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. They play at the 38,000-capacity Estadio Tahuichi Aguilera. Oriente have been Bolivian champions five times, Copa Aerosur winners two times. They have also been successful in South America, by being the second Bolivian team to make the quarter-finals in Copa Libertadores. Sergio Goycochea
Sergio Javier Goycochea (; born 17 October 1963) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He is best known for helping his country reach the 1990 FIFA World Cup Final with his penalty kick saves. Career Goycochea was the substitute for Nery Pumpido both in River Plate and in the Argentina national team, and got his big break in the 1990 FIFA World Cup. When Pumpido broke his leg in Argentina's second group game against the Soviet Union, Goycochea stepped in and remained the team's starting goalkeeper for the remainder of the tournament. Procópio Cardoso Neto (born March 21, 1939) is a Brazilian former football player and coach. He started his professional career at Renascença as a center back. Cardoso also played for Belo Horizonte rivals, Cruzeiro and Atlético Mineiro, São Paulo, Fluminense, Vitória and Palmeiras. Aílton (footballer, Born 1968)
Aílton Delfino (born 1 September 1968) is a retired Brazilian professional footballer who played as a striker. Career Born in Belo Horizonte, Aílton is a youth product of Atlético Mineiro, making his debut in 1987, and taking part in the conquest of three Campeonato Mineiro, in 1988, 1989 and 1991, and one Copa CONMEBOL. In 1993, Aílton joined Benfica, as the alternative for Adolfo Valencia after negotiations with the Colombian failed. He made his debut on a friendly against FC Barcelona on 18 August 1993, scoring the 2–1 in the 73rd minute. His first season in Portugal was a success, as he help the Lisbon-side win the league title, scoring 14 goals in 33 games, notably the first against Porto on 6 February 1994. In his second season, Artur Jorge made several changes in the squad, with Aílton being loaned out to São Paulo until June 1995. Carlos Alberto Dario de Oliveira, usually known as Alfinete, (born February 1, 1961) is a retired professional Brazilian footballer who played as a right back for several Campeonato Brasileiro Série A clubs. João Leite da Silva Neto, known simply as João Leite (Pitangui, October 13, 1955), is a politician in the Legislative Assembly of Minas Gerais and a former Brazilian football goalkeeper who played for Atlético Mineiro in the decades of 1970, 1980 and 1990.
