1991–92 2. Bundesliga
The 1991–92 2. Bundesliga season was the eighteenth season of the 2. Bundesliga, the second tier of the German football league system. It was the first season in which the league contained clubs from former East Germany. Bayer 05 Uerdingen and 1. FC Saarbrücken were promoted to the Bundesliga while Blau-Weiß 90 Berlin, BSV Stahl Brandenburg, TSV 1860 Munich, Hallescher FC and FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt were relegated to the Oberliga. Format As a result of the assimilation of six teams from the former East German Oberliga, the league was split into two groups - Nord and Süd. In each area, a normal round robin league (22 games) was firstly completed. After this the leagues were divided in half, forming a championship division and a relegation division which saw a final round of games between the teams (10 games). Bayer 05 Uerdingen
KFC Uerdingen 05 is a German football club in the Uerdingen district of the city of Krefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia. The former Bundesliga side enjoyed its greatest successes in the 1980s but now plays in the fifth-level Oberliga. History The club was founded on 17 November 1905 as Fußball-Club Uerdingen 05. On 1 August 1919, following World War I, FC was joined by Sportvereinigung des Realgymnasiums Uerdingen. During World War II from 1941 to 1945 the club played as part of the combined wartime side Kriegspiel-Gemeinschaft KSG Uerdingen alongside VfB 1910 Uerdingen (which was known from 1910 to 1919 as Sport-Club Preussen Uerdingen). Chemnitzer Fußballclub e.V. is a German association football club based in Chemnitz, Saxony. The club competes in Regionalliga Nordost, the fourth tier of German football. The roots of the club go back to its establishment as Chemnitzer BC 1933, following the financial collapse of former Chemnitzer BC 1899. FC Remscheid is a German association football club from Remscheid, North Rhine-Westphalia formed on 1 July 1990 out of the merger of ''BV Lüttringhausen'' and ''VfB Marathon Remscheid''. History Predecessor side ''Marathon'' was formed in 1906 and ''BV Lüttringhausen'' was founded 25 October 1908 in the northern city district of the same name. VfL Osnabrück is a German multi-sport club in Osnabrück, Lower Saxony. It currently fields teams in basketball, gymnastics, swimming, table tennis, and tennis but is by far best known for its football section. VfB Oldenburg
VfB Oldenburg is a German association football club based in Oldenburg, Lower Saxony. In the 2022–23 season, they play in the 3. Liga, the third level of football in Germany. SV Meppen is a German association football club playing in Meppen, Lower Saxony. The club was founded on 29 November 1912 as ''Amisia Meppen'' and joined ''Männer-Turnverein Meppen'' on 8 February 1920 to form ''TuS Meppen 1912''. SV Waldhof Mannheim is a multi-sports club, located in Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg. It is most known for its association football team; however, there are also professional handball and table-tennis sides. The club today has a membership of over 2,400. FC Carl Zeiss Jena is a German football club based in Jena, Thuringia. 1. Fußballclub Lokomotive Leipzig e.V. is a German football club based in the locality of Probstheida in the Südost borough of Leipzig, Saxony. Fußball-Club 08 Homburg or simply FC Homburg is a German association football club based in Homburg, Saarland, that competes in the Regionalliga Südwest.
