Luc Roosen
Luc Roosen (born 17 September 1964, in Bree) is a retired road racing cyclist from Belgium, who was a professional rider from 1986 to 1997. Career achievements He competed in six Tours de France, as well as one edition each of the Giro d'Italia and Vuelta a España. He also finished in second place in the 1990 Amstel Gold Race. Roosen obtained a total of sixteen victories during his professional career, including the 1991 Tour de Suisse. Eddy Bouwmans (born 30 January 1968) is a Dutch former road bicycle racer. Bouwmans currently works as a Hospitality Coordinator for UCI WorldTeam . Career In 1989 at the Tour DuPont Bouwmans finished third in the opening time-trial less than four seconds behind the winner. Bouwmans won the young rider classification in the 1992 Tour de France. He finished fourteenth in the Tour that year. In 1996 Bouwmans came ninth at the Tour of Austria. Philippa York (born Robert Millar on 13 September 1958) is a Scottish journalist and former professional road racing cyclist. York, who competed when known as Robert Millar, is one of Britain's most successful cyclists. York won the "King of the Mountains" competition in the 1984 Tour de France and finished fourth overall. This success was the first time a British rider won a major Tour classification, and was unsurpassed as the highest Tour finish for a Briton for over 20 years until Bradley Wiggins was retrospectively placed third in the 2009 Tour de France. Pascal Richard (born 16 March 1964) is a French-speaking Swiss former racing cyclist. He is most notable as a former King of the Mountains winner at the Giro d'Italia and Olympic Games gold medalist. The Tour de Suisse ( en, Tour of Switzerland) is an annual road cycling stage race. Raced over eight days, the event covers two weekends in June, and along with the Critérium du Dauphiné, it is considered a proving ground for the Tour de France, which is on the calendar approximately two weeks after the end of the Tour de Suisse.
