Freedom Party Of Switzerland
The Freedom Party of Switzerland (FPS) (german: Freiheits-Partei der Schweiz; french: Parti suisse de la liberté / PSL) is a minor right-wing populist political party in Switzerland. Its president and leading representative is Jürg Scherrer, formerly the head of the security department in the city government of Biel/Bienne until 2008. The party is against much government involvement in the economy, especially environmental regulations, but is for strict controls on immigration and strict punishments for selling drugs. The Progressive Organisations of Switzerland (POCH; german: Progressive Organisationen der Schweiz; french: Organisations progressistes de Suisse) were a communist party founded in 1969. Most of its members were from a university background. Ticino League
The Ticino League ( it, Lega dei Ticinesi) is a regionalist, national-conservative political party in Switzerland active in the canton of Ticino. The party was founded in 1991 by entrepreneur Giuliano Bignasca and journalist Flavio Maspoli. After some public campaigning in the Sunday newspaper ' against political power and use of public money, Bignasca and Maspoli founded the Ticino League to continue the fight at the political level. Bignasca (1945–2013) was the League's "president for life".
