Michael Parsons (Australian Footballer)
Michael Wayne Parsons (3 October 1960 – 24 April 2009) was an Australian rules footballer who played for the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League, Victorian/Australian Football League (VFL/AFL) and North Adelaide Football Club, North Adelaide in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). Parsons grew up in Legana, Tasmania. He first played football as a junior with Launceston. He played under ex-St.Kilda defender Roy Apted who coached the young Blues to the 1976 Under 16 premiership in the Northern Tasmanian Junior Football Association (NTJFA). Michael Nunan
Michael Allen Nunan (born 12 April 1949) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Sturt Football Club, Norwood Football Club and the North Adelaide Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL), as well as for the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League, Victorian Football League (VFL). Nunan had a highly decorated playing career, winning premierships with Sturt and Norwood before becoming coach of North Adelaide and leading the club to two premierships. He was also the last official senior coach of in 1996, resigning halfway through the season as news came out that the club was going to merge with the Brisbane Bears to form the Brisbane Lions. Sean Tasker
Sean Tasker (born 18 June 1968) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Tasker was North Adelaide's leading goal-kicker in 1989 but played as a full-back in their 1991 premiership team. A foundation player at Adelaide, he made his AFL debut in 1991 at the age of 23. Used mostly as a defender, he still played as a forward on occasions and kicked five goals against Sydney in 1992. He made just five appearances in 1993, but participated in two finals. Brodie Atkinson
Brodie Atkinson (born 31 July 1972) is a former Australian rules footballer who played in the Australian Football League (AFL) and the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). Atkinson joined the North Adelaide Football Club in 1990 from Port Pirie club Risdon who formerly competed in the Spencer Gulf Football League. He played League and Reserves football for North, winning the Reserves Magarey Medal in 1991 and being one of North's best in the 1991 SANFL Grand Final. At the end of the 1992 season the tough midfielder was drafted by St Kilda at pick 16 in the 1992 AFL Draft. In his debut match at age 20 for St Kilda in Round 11 1993 he had 25 touches and earned an AFL Rising Star nomination and two Brownlow Medal votes, but was dropped after one more match despite being among the best once more. Steven Kerry Hamilton (born 7 September 1970) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with North Melbourne Football Club, North Melbourne in the Australian Football League (AFL). Hamilton was selected by North Melbourne at pick 74 in the 1988 VFL Draft, 1988 National Draft, from North Adelaide Football Club, North Adelaide. Darel Hart
Darel Hart (born 3 January 1964) is a former Australian rules footballer who played in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) and for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). From Salisbury North, Hart was recruited to and played with Central District while still a teenager. He transferred to North Adelaide in 1984 and soon established himself as one of their best players, with 'Best and Fairest' wins in 1986 and 1987. Hart captained North Adelaide to the 1987 premiership, under coach Michael Nunan, the same year that he represented Australia in an International Rules series against Ireland. Michael Redden
Michael John Redden (born 17 May 1957) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the North Adelaide Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). He is the holder of the club games record for North Adelaide with 334 premiership games, and also played 44 pre-season/night series matches, kicking 11 goals. Recruited from the Orroroo Football Club in the Northern Areas Football Association, Redden made his SANFL debut in 1978. He played in North Adelaide's premiership teams of 1987 and 1991, and won the club's best and fairest award in 1983, being awarded life membership at North Adelaide in 1987. In 1993, he was appointed captain of North Adelaide, and captained the club until his retirement at the end of the season. Football Park, known commercially as AAMI Stadium, was an Australian rules football stadium located in West Lakes, a western suburb of Adelaide, the state capital of South Australia, Australia.
