Jeff McLean (ice Hockey)
Jeffrey A. McLean (born October 6, 1969) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre who played six games in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the San Jose Sharks during the 1993–94 season. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1992 to 2000, was spent in various minor leagues. Early life McLean was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. He played junior in the BCHL, then moved on to the University of North Dakota. Career After university, McLean turned pro with the Kansas City Blades in 1992. The Merrimack Warriors men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents Merrimack College. The Ferris State Bulldogs men's ice hockey team is an NCAA Division I college ice hockey program that represents Ferris State University. The Bulldogs are a member of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA). They play at Ewigleben Arena in Big Rapids, Michigan. History Ferris State's ice hockey program began in 1975 as a member of the NAIA and joined the CCHA as an affiliate member. The Yale Bulldogs men's ice hockey team represents Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut and is the oldest collegiate ice hockey team in the United States. The Bulldogs compete in the Ivy League and the ECAC Hockey League (ECACHL) and play their home games at Ingalls Rink, also called the Yale Whale. The current head coach is Keith Allain, who led the Bulldogs to an Ivy League championship in his first year as head coach (2006–2007 season). Jack Duffy (ice Hockey)
Jack Duffy (born September 25, 1970) is an American ice hockey coach and former defenseman who was an All-American for Yale. Career Duffy began attending Yale University in the fall of 1989, joining a program that had slowly improving over the course of the 1980s. Duffy was not a big scorer for the Bulldogs, but he was instrumental in getting Yale's defense to allow fewer goals in each of his four seasons. He was able to help Yale to a winning record as a junior while producing at a point per game pace. he was named team captain for his senior season and, while the results were still positive, the team stalled a bit and wasn't able to build on their modest success. Duffy was named an All-American and began his professional career the following year. The Vermont Catamounts men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I (NCAA), Division I college ice hockey program that represents the University of Vermont. Chris Hynnes
Chris Hynnes (born August 12, 1970) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenseman who was an All-American for Colorado College and led the South Carolina Stingrays to a Kelly Cup championship in 1997. Career Hynnes began his college career in 1989 and played sparingly as a freshman. His ice time an production increased significantly beginning with his sophomore season and he continued to grow as a junior, being named an All-American while scoring at a more than point-per-game pace. Despite Hynnes' efforts, Colorado College didn't achieve much success during his time with the team. The Tigers never finished above .500 and missed the NCAA tournament each year. After graduating, Hynnes began his professional career in one of the lowest leagues in North America, the Colonial Hockey League. Mark David Beaufait (born May 13, 1970) is an American former professional ice hockey player. He resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He played 5 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the San Jose Sharks during the 1992–93 season. Central Collegiate Hockey Association
The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) is a college athletic conference that participates in the NCAA's Division I as a hockey-only conference. The current CCHA began play in the 2021–22 season; a previous incarnation, which the current CCHA recognizes as part of its history, existed from 1971 to 2013. Half of its members are located in the state of Michigan, with additional members in Minnesota and Ohio. It has also had teams located in Alaska, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri and Nebraska over the course of its existence.
