American League East
The American League East is one of Major League Baseball's six divisions. MLB consists of an East, Central, and West division for each of its two 15-team leagues, the American League (AL) and National League (NL). This division was created before the start of the season along with the American League West division. Before that time, each league consisted of 10 teams without any divisions. Four of the division's five teams are located in the Eastern United States, with the other team, the Toronto Blue Jays, in Eastern Canada. Carmen Castillo
Monte Carmelo Castillo (June 8, 1958 – November 15, 2015) was an outfielder in Major League Baseball who played for the Cleveland Indians and Minnesota Twins. Castillo died of heart problems on November 15, 2015. Baseball career In 631 games over 10 seasons, Castillo posted a .252 batting average (383-for-1519) with 190 runs, 55 home runs, 197 RBIs and 90 bases on balls. He recorded a .953 fielding percentage as an outfielder. Signed as a free agent by the Philadelphia Phillies in 1978, Castillo was taken by the Indians on December 5 of that year in the Rule 5 Double-A draft. Darren Holmes (baseball)
Darren Lee Holmes (born April 25, 1966) is an American former professional baseball pitcher and current coach. Holmes pitched in Major League Baseball from 1990 to 2003 and is currently the bullpen coach for the Baltimore Orioles. Professional career Early years Holmes was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina, and attended T.C. Roberson High School, where he excelled in football, basketball, and baseball. Teodoro Higuera Valenzuela (born November 9, 1957) is a Mexican former professional baseball pitcher. He played for nine years (– and –) for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB). Early career Higuera was named the rookie of the year with the Indios de Ciudad Juárez during the 1981 Mexican League season. In 1983, his contract was purchased by the Brewers. After one year in the minor leagues, Higuera earned a spot in the team's 1985 rotation after winning a competition with Japanese pitcher Yutaka Enatsu. Richard Douglas Henry (born December 10, 1963) is an American former professional baseball relief pitcher and current coach. Career Henry played for the Milwaukee Brewers (1991–94), New York Mets (1995–96), San Francisco Giants (1997 and 2000), Houston Astros (1998–2000) and Kansas City Royals (2001). James Parker Austin (born December 7, 1963) is a former baseball pitcher who played for the Milwaukee Brewers from 1991 to 1993. Career Austin made his major league debut for the Milwaukee Brewers on July 4, 1991, after spending 6 seasons in the minors with the San Diego Padres and Brewers organizations. Austin had an excellent 1992 season with Milwaukee, posting a record of 5–2 with a 1.85 ERA. Shortly afterwards an arm injury derailed his major league career. Donald Glenn August (born July 3, 1963) is an American former Major League Baseball pitcher who played for the Milwaukee Brewers from to . He lived in Mission Viejo, California and graduated from Capistrano Valley High School. Minor pro career August attended Chapman University, where he was a Division II All-American.
