Bagus Setiadi (born 24 June 1966) is a retired male badminton player from Indonesia. Setiadi retired after one of his eyes was injured hit by the shuttlecock smashed by his sparring partner, Imay Hendra, during regular training in the 1990s. Tian Bingyi
Tian Bingyi (; born July 30, 1963) is a former badminton star from China. Though he played some singles internationally early in his career, he soon specialised in men's doubles. Career From the mid 1980s to the early 1990s Tian and his regular partner Li Yongbo won numerous top tier international titles. They were contemporaries and rivals of the famous Korean team of Park Joo-bong and Kim Moon-soo, largely dividing the world's biggest championships between them for about eight seasons. Li Yongbo
Li Yongbo (; born September 18, 1962) is a retired Chinese male badminton player and the former head coach of Chinese National Badminton Team. Career As a player, he was a men's doubles specialist noted for his quickness, reflexes, and power. From the mid-1980s to the early 1990s he shared numerous international titles with his regular partner Tian Bingyi. They were contemporaries and rivals of the famous Korean pair Park Joo-bong and Kim Moon-soo, largely dividing badminton's biggest doubles events between them for about eight seasons. Thomas Lund
Thomas Haubro Lund (born 2 August 1968) is a retired badminton player from Denmark who affiliate with Kastrup Magleby club. Career Lund was one of the world's leading doubles specialists of the 1990s, particularly in mixed doubles. He was a silver medalist in both men's and mixed doubles at the 1991 IBF World Championships. In 1993 and 1995 he won consecutive gold medals in mixed doubles at the IBF World Championships, the first with Sweden's Catrine Bengtsson and the second with his compatriot Marlene Thomsen. From 1990 through 1994 Lund won five consecutive mixed doubles titles with three different partners at the now defunct World Badminton Grand Prix. At the prestigious All England Open he captured titles in both men's doubles (1993) and mixed doubles (1993, 1995). Lund was elected to the World Badminton Hall of Fame in 2008. Jon Holst-Christensen (born 16 June 1968) is a retired male badminton player from Denmark. Career Summer Olympics Jon Holst-Christensen competed in badminton at the 1992 Summer Olympics in men's doubles with Thomas Lund. In the first round they defeated Dean Galt and Kerrin Harrison of New Zealand and in second round they were beaten by Razif Sidek and Jalani Sidek of Malaysia. Kim Moon-soo (born 29 December 1963) is a former badminton player from South Korea. Career He has won 2 titles in the World Badminton Championships in men's doubles. He also won a gold medal at the Summer Olympics and 3 All England Open Badminton Championships in men's doubles. All of these were gained with fellow countryman Park Joo-bong, his regular partner during most his badminton career. In 1988, Kim married fellow 1985 World Champion Yoo Sang Hee after Yoo retired from international badminton. Kim himself retired in 1993, after contributing to Korea's Sudirman Cup victory. Park Joo-bong
Park Joo-bong (Hangul: 박주봉; Hanja: 朴柱奉; born 5 December 1964) is a former badminton player from South Korea who excelled from the early 1980s through the mid-1990s. Career Park is one of the most successful players ever in the World Badminton Championships with 5 titles, 2 of them in men's doubles and 3 in mixed doubles. He also won a gold and a silver medal at the Summer Olympics and 9 All England Open Badminton Championships titles. Though Park was primarily a doubles player, the greatest one ever in the opinion of some, he was capable of world class level singles which he displayed in occasional tournaments and Thomas Cup appearances early in his career and currently holds the South Korean national record of 103 consecutive wins in men's singles from 1981 to 1984. Lucia Francisca "Susi" Susanti Haditono (; born 11 February 1971) is an Indonesia retired badminton player. Relatively small of stature, she combined quick and graceful movement with elegant shotmaking technique, and is regarded by many as one of the greatest women's singles players of all time. She is the first Indonesian Olympic gold medalist.
