Manuela Maleeva
Manuela Georgieva Maleeva (; born 14 February 1967) is a Bulgarian former professional tennis player. She played on the WTA Tour between 1982 and 1994. Through her marriage, Maleeva began representing Switzerland officially from January 1990 until her retirement in February 1994. One of the most consistent players on tour in the 1980s and early 1990s, Maleeva reached her career-high singles ranking of No. 3 in the world in February 1985 and finished with a year-end top 10 ranking for nine consecutive years (1984 till 1992). A winner of 19 WTA singles titles and four doubles titles, she also reached a total of 14 Grand Slam quarterfinals in her career, including two US Open semifinals in 1992 and 1993, which are her career-best Grand Slam results. Virginia Ruano Pascual (; born 21 September 1973) is a Spanish former professional tennis player. She had moderate success in singles, winning three WTA Tour titles as well as reaching two major quarterfinals and a top-30 ranking, but she had been far more successful in doubles. She won 43 career doubles titles, including eleven at Grand Slam tournaments: ten in women's doubles (eight partnering Paola Suárez, and two partnering Anabel Medina Garrigues) and one in mixed doubles (partnering Tomás Carbonell). Luciana Corsato-Owsianka (born 21 January 1966) is a former professional tennis player from Brazil. Biography Corsato began competing on the professional tour in 1984. Jonna Opitz (born 22 July 1969) is a Swedish former professional tennis player. She played under the name Jonna Jonerup. Biography Jonerup reached a best singles ranking of 147 in the world competing on the professional tour. Heidi Sprung Vasudevan (born 10 January 1969) is a former professional tennis player from Austria. Biography Sprung, who is originally from Salzburg, played Fed Cup tennis for Austria in 1988. She teamed up with Judith Wiesner to win the deciding doubles rubber over Belgium, setting up a second round tie with the USSR. Pilar Vásquez (born 15 May 1963) is a former professional tennis player from Peru. Biography Vásquez, who was born in Lima, moved to the United States in the late 1970s and attended school in Miami.
