1990–91 I Liga
The 1990–91 I liga (then known as the 1990–91 II liga) was the 43rd season of the I liga, the second highest division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1949. The league was operated by the Polish Football Association (PZPN). 20 teams took part in them, playing in a circular system. The league season began in July 1990, the last matches were played in June 1991. It was the last edition of the I liga before the competition reform, after which two groups of this level were restored. Stal Stalowa Wola won the championship for the first time in their history. I Liga
I liga ( pl, Pierwsza liga, ), currently named Fortuna I liga due to its sponsorship by Fortuna, is the men's second professional association football division of the Polish football league system, below the Ekstraklasa and above the II liga via promotion/relegation systems. Run by the Polish Football Association (PZPN) since its inception on 30 May 1948. The league was renamed from Second League (II liga) to First League (I liga) in 2008. It is currently contested by 18 teams, from 2002 all clubs onwards must have a licence, issued by the Association.. Stilon Gorzów Wielkopolski, is a Polish football club based in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland. History The club was founded in 1947. In the 1991–92 Polish Cup, they reached the semi-finals. In 1997, the club was relegated from the III liga, currently known as the II liga, which forced them to withdraw from the IV liga, now known as the III liga, for a year due to a horrible financial situation. II Liga
II liga (Druga Liga, ), currently named eWinner II liga due to sponsorship reasons by eWinner, is a Polish football league that sits at the third tier of the Polish football league system. Until the end of the 2007–08 season ''II Liga'' referred to a league at the 2nd tier, although this changed with the formation of the Ekstraklasa as the top level league in Poland. Currently, II liga is below I liga and above III liga. Since the 2014/15 season there is one group making up the II Liga unlike in previous seasons when there were two groups (''West'' and ''East''). The league consists of 18 teams. Two first teams win promotion to the I Liga. Teams from places 15–18 are demoted to the III Liga. Korona Kielce, , (Korona – ''Crown'' – symbol of club and city, Kielce – name of city where club is based) is a Polish football club, which will compete in Ekstraklasa in the 2022–23 Ekstraklasa, 2022–23 season. Zagłębie Wałbrzych is a Polish multisports club in the south-western city of Wałbrzych. The club, based in the Biały Kamień, Wałbrzych, Biały Kamień neighbourhood, is the most famous for its football team, which competed in the Ekstraklasa, Polish top division in the past.
