1990–91 Division 1 (Senegal)
The 1990-91 Division 1 season was the 27th of the competition of the first-tier football in Senegal. The tournament was organized by the Senegalese Football Federation.http://www.rsssf.com/tablesk/sene91.html ASC Port Autonome won the second title and participated in the 1992 African Cup of Champions Clubs the following year. ASC Diaraf participated in the 1992 CAF Cup, ASEC Ndiambour in the 1992 CAF Winners' Cup and ASC Jeanne d'Arc in the 1992 West African Cup. SEIB Diourbel was the defending team of the title. A total of 16 clubs participated in the competition. The season featured 450 matches and scored 429 goals. No new clubs came from the second division (Division 2). Senegal Premier League is the top division of the Senegal Football Association, it was founded in 1966. The league also hosts a domestic cup, the Coupe de la Ligue. AS Douanes (Dakar)
AS Douanes is a Senegalese professional football club based in Dakar. The current chairman as of 2016 is Alassane Ndione. Douanes also has the third most number of major honours won in Senegal numbering 14, they 6 championship and cup titles, a super cup and a league cup. The club plays at Stade Demba Diop, sometimes they play at Stade Alassane Djigo. History The club was founded in 1980. Not long after the foundation, as they were only three tiers at the time, the club went to Division 1 in 1984 and participated there. Their first championship title was won in 1993, their second was in 1997. Douanes won three consecutive championship titles in 2008, the latter two were won in the final phase. 1992 WAFU Club Championship
The 1992 WAFU Club Championship was the 16th football club tournament season that took place for the runners-up or third place of each West African country's domestic league, the West African Club Championship. It was won by Mali's Stade Malien after defeating Guinea's Hafia FC in two legs. A total of about 33 goals were scored, half than last season as three clubs fully forfeited the match and two, Liberté FC Niamey and Jeanne d'Arc of Dakar withdrew after the first leg. ASEC Nouadhbihou (now part of FC Nouadhibou) withdrew in a second match with Lobi Bank, one club Dawu Youngsters of Ghana were disqualified. Neither club from the Gambia nor Guinea-Bissau participated. Association Sportive et Culturelle Saloum is a Senegalese football club based in Kaolack. Union Sportive Ouakam (estimate Wolof form: ''Wakaam''), abbreviation: USO is a Senegalese football (soccer), football club based in Dakar in the subdivision of Ouakam in the west of the city close to Cap-Vert, Cap Vert.
