	1990 Umaglesi Liga The 1990 Umaglesi Liga was the first and inaugural season of top-tier football in Georgia. It began on 30 March and ended on 12 November 1990. Georgia was still a part of Soviet Union, but the Georgian clubs were withdrawn from the Soviet league system and formed the Georgian league system. Iberia Tbilisi won the championship. 	Otar Korgalidze Otar Korghalidze ( ka, ოთარ კორღალიძე; born 2 September 1960) is a Georgian former professional football player and manager. During his playing career Korgalidze played for various clubs in Georgia, Austria, Azerbaijan and Estonia. He spent several seasons in the Soviet Top League and Soviet First League with FC Guria Lanchkhuti, FC Dinamo Tbilisi and FC Torpedo Kutaisi. Korgalidze scored 3 goals in 8 games during his short spell at Flora Tallinn. Otar Korgalidze retired in 2000. His last club was FC Kuressaare. He is also a former member of the Georgia national football team. Following his playing career, Korgalidze was a manager for FC Sioni Bolnisi. 	FC Gorda Rustavi Metalurgi Rustavi is a defunct Georgian football team based in Rustavi, which has twice won the national league. In Soviet times, the club played under the name "Metalurgi" (Rustavi), then during the independence of Georgia, the club was called "Gorda" (Rustavi) and FC Rustavi. After FC Tbilisi merged with club FC Rustavi in 2006, FC Olimpi Rustavi was established. History Football in Rustavi could be traced back to Metalurgi Rustavi in the Soviet era. The club was based in Sokhumi in 1990–1993 and following the War in Abkhazia (1992–1993) was re-founded by an internally displaced person from Abkhazia in Tbilisi. 	FC Samgurali Tskhaltubo FC Samgurali Tsqaltubo is a Georgian association football club from Tsqaltubo, which takes part in Erovnuli Liga, the first tier of the national league. They have been runners-up of the Georgian Cup three times. History In Soviet and national leagues Formed in 1945 as ''FC Medic'', the football club from Tsqaltubo had the most prolific years in 1980s. Between 1983 and 1990 under the name ''Shadrevani'' they became champions of the Georgian Soviet league three times, once finished as runners-up and once won bronze medals.
