1990 US Open – Women's Doubles
Defending champion Martina Navratilova and her partner Gigi Fernández defeated Jana Novotná and Helena Suková in the final, 6–2, 6–4 to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 1990 US Open. It was Navratilova's ninth US Open women's doubles title and 31st and final major women's doubles title overall, the latter an all-time record. Novotná and Suková were attempting to achieve the Grand Slam. Hana Mandlíková and Navratilova were the reigning champions, but Mandlíková did not compete that year. Gigi Fernández
Beatriz "Gigi" Fernández (born February 22, 1964) is a Puerto Rican former professional tennis player. Fernández won 17 major doubles titles and two Olympic gold medals representing the United States, and reached the world No. 1 ranking in doubles. She reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 17 in 1991. Since retiring from the professional tour in 1997 at the age of 33, Fernández has been a tennis coach and entrepreneur. Elna Reinach (born 2 December 1968) is a South African former professional tennis player. With Patrick Galbraith, she won the US Open mixed doubles championship in 1994. Manon Bollegraf
Manon Maria Bollegraf (born 10 April 1964) is a former professional tennis player from the Netherlands, who was a quarterfinalist at the singles event of the 1992 French Open, a finalist in doubles at the 1997 Wimbledon Championships, and a four-time mixed doubles Grand Slam champion. Wendy White-Prausa (born 29 September 1960) is a former professional tennis player. Early life and education White was born in 1960 in the state of Georgia. When she was 8, she learned to play tennis at a summer camp. White became a dominant junior player in her state and on the sectional and national levels.
