1990 Full Members Cup Final
The 1990 Full Members' Cup final, also known by its sponsored name, the Zenith Data Systems Cup, was a football match which took place at Wembley Stadium on 25 March 1990. It was contested between First Division Chelsea and Second Division Middlesbrough. Chelsea's Tony Dorigo scored the only goal of the match with a long-range free kick. John Bumstead
John Bumstead (born 27 November 1958) is an English former footballer who played as a midfielder in the Football League for Chelsea, where he spent most of his career, and Charlton Athletic. Club career Bumstead started his career in the Chelsea youth set-up, and was well established in the first team by the time they won the Second Division in 1983–84, and with it promotion to the First Division. He helped them win the Full Members Cup in 1985–86, when they also finished sixth in the league. He remained with the club after their relegation in 1987–88 and collected a Second Division medal the following season as they regained their First Division status at the first attempt. Colin Cooper
Colin Terence Cooper (born 28 February 1967) is an English football manager and former professional footballer. As a player, he was a defender who notably played in the Premier League for Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough. He played over 500 league appearances combined for both clubs. He also played in the Football League for both Millwall and Sunderland. He was capped twice by England, having previously earned eight games at U21 level. Following retirement, he moved into coaching and worked in the Middlesbrough academy, later progressing into the first team before taking charge on a temporary basis in 2009. Gary Parkinson
Gary Anthony Parkinson (born 10 January 1968) is an English former professional footballer who played as a right-back. In 2006, he was appointed Head of Youth at his former club Blackpool, a role he occupied until he suffered a severe stroke in September 2010, leading to a diagnosis of locked-in syndrome. Stephen Pears
Stephen Pears (born 22 January 1962) is an English former footballer. Born in Brandon, County Durham, he played as a goalkeeper for Manchester United, Middlesbrough, Liverpool and Hartlepool United in a career spanning 20 years. Career Stephen Pears started his career at Manchester United as an understudy to Gary Bailey. However, Pears struggled to displace him and break into the first team. During the 1983–84 season, in order to gain match practice, he was sent to Middlesbrough on loan where he became a fan favourite. Middlesbrough attempted to sign him permanently but the club failed to raise the £80,000 fee. However, Middlesbrough made a second attempt to sign Pears and he transferred to the club permanently in 1985. The following season saw the club get relegated. Bobby Campbell (English Footballer)
Robert George Campbell (23 April 1937 – 6 November 2015) was an English professional football player and later manager. Playing career He began his career with Liverpool, where he also won England Youth international caps. He then moved on to Portsmouth and later Aldershot. Coaching and managerial career After injury ended his career in 1966, he turned his hand to coaching, at Portsmouth and then, with greater success, at Queens Park Rangers. He went on to work under Bertie Mee at Arsenal as first-team coach, after Steve Burtenshaw's resignation and subsequent departure to Sheffield Wednesday in 1973. Clive Wilson
Euclid Aklana Wilson (born 13 November 1961) is an English former professional footballer who played in midfield and at left-back. He notably played top flight football for Manchester City, Chelsea, Queens Park Rangers and Tottenham Hotspur, with appearances for QPR and Spurs coming in the Premier League. David Lee (footballer Born 1969)
David John Lee (born 26 November 1969) is an English football coach and former professional player. Lee played as a defender from 1988 until 2004, notably played in the Premier League for Chelsea and in the Australian top flight for Parramatta Power. He also played in the Football League for Reading, Plymouth Argyle, Portsmouth, Sheffield United, Bristol Rovers, Crystal Palace, Colchester United and Exeter City. Gordon Durie
Gordon Scott Durie (born on 6 December, 1965 in Paisley) is the Scottish former professional footballer, a utility player who usually played as a striker. Kerry Michael Dixon (born 24 July 1961) is an English retired professional footballer who played as a forward. His club career was spent most notably at Chelsea, where he won the Second Division twice. His 193 goals for the club across all competitions made him their third-highest goalscorer of all time. Peter Nicholas (born 10 November 1959) is a Welsh former professional footballer and Wales international, now football manager. He was capped 73 times at senior level for Wales between 1979 and 1991. Career Crystal Palace Nicholas was born in Maesglas, Newport. He joined his first professional club, Crystal Palace, in 1976 as a youth player.
