1989 Nagaland Legislative Assembly Election
Elections to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly were held in November 1989 to elect members of the 60 constituencies in Nagaland, India. The Indian National Congress won a majority of seats and S. C. Jamir was appointed as the Chief Minister of Nagaland. The number of constituencies was set as 60 by the recommendation of the Delimitation Commission of India. Nagaland Legislative Assembly
Nagaland Legislative Assembly is the unicameral legislature of the Indian state of Nagaland. Nagaland became a state of India on 1 December 1963 and after election in January 1964, the first Nagaland Legislative Assembly was formed on 11 February 1964. In 1974, the strength of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly was increased to the present strength of 60 members.Nagaland
legislativebodiesinindia.nic.in. There is no nominated member in the House, all the members are elected on the basis of adult franchise from single-seat constituencies. The normal tenure of the House is five years unless dissolved sooner. The seat of the Legislative Assembly is , the capital of Nagaland.

Pfütsero (Vidhan Sabha Constituency)
Pfütsero is a town located in the Phek District of the Indian state of Nagaland. It is the highest-altitude town and the coldest inhabited place in Nagaland with temperatures occasionally dropping below 0 °C during winter nights. It is headed by an ADC and is inhabited mostly by Khezhas and Chokris. It is a commercially important town as it is located in the middle of Phek District. Demographics , Pfütsero had a population of 10,371. Religion The inhabitants of Pfütsero are predominantly Baptist, however there are also Roman Catholic, Pentecost, and Revivalist. Tourism Pfütsero is rapidly growing to be a tourist destination. The best time to visit is from mid October (harvesting time) to April. Vizadel Sakhrie
Vizadel Sakhrie Hibo (25 April 1943 – 31 March 1995) was an Indian politician and a medical specialist from Nagaland. He was first elected to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly from Southern Angami II Assembly constituency in 1982 as an independent candidate. Sakhrie then joined the Indian National Congress after which he served as the Minister for Medical and Health & Family Welfare. Early life and education Vizadel Sakhrie was born on 25 April 1943 to Puhokhwel Sakhrie and his wife Vichosale. He passed matriculation from Kohima Government High School in 1960 and went on to study science at Kohima Science College, where he was among the school's first batch of 21 students to pass the pre-university class in 1961. Neiphiu Rio
Neiphiu Guolhoulie Rio (born 11 November 1950) is an Indian politician serving as the 9th Chief Minister of Nagaland. Rio has also served as Chief Minister for three separate terms (2002–07, 2007–12, 2012–14 and 2018–till date), making him the only Nagaland Chief Minister to have served three consecutive terms.
