Misano World Circuit (pre-1993)
The Misano World Circuit (officially known as Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli or Misano Circuit Sic 58, and before 2006 called Circuito Internazionale Santa Monica) is a race track located next to the town of Misano Adriatico ( Province of Rimini) in the frazione of Santa Monica-Cella. The Cup was awarded by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, the world governing body for motorsport, as its main Formula Three title in Europe after the FIA European Formula 3 Championship (established in 1975), European Formula 3 Championship was cancelled in 1984. Olivier Beretta (born 23 November 1969) is a professional racing driver from Monaco who raced in Formula One in 1994 for the Larrousse team, partnering Érik Comas. Ralt RT33
The Ralt RT33 was a Formula 3 racing car that was developed and built by Ralt in 1989 and was used in various Formula 3 championships. A total of 37 chassis' were made. Development history and technology The RT33 was the logical further development of the RT32 from 1988. As with the previous model, the RT33 used both aluminum and carbon fiber as the material for the monocoque chassis. To improve aerodynamics, Ron Tauranac rented a wind tunnel during the development phase. The result was new sidepods and a completely new rear end with a rear wing that was connected to the body on the left and right. New regulations and the resulting radial tires that Avon supplied made it necessary to revise the suspension in order to achieve better traction. The engines came from Volkswagen and Mugen. Alessandro "Alex" Zanardi (; born 23 October 1966) is an Italian professional racing driver and paracyclist. He won the CART championship in 1997 and 1998, and took 15 wins in the series. He also raced in Formula One from 1991 to 1994 and again in 1999; his best result was a sixth-place finish in the 1993 Brazilian GP. Zakspeed () is a motor racing team from Germany, founded in 1968 by Erich Zakowski and after that run by his son Peter Zakowski. Michael Bartels (born 8 March 1968) is a German professional racing driver. He is a multiple FIA GT champion and former Grand Prix driver who attempted to qualify for four races in with Lotus. Career Bartels was the 1985 German karting champion and the 1986 German Formula Ford 1600 champion. He competed in the German Formula Three Championship in 1988 and 1989, before stepping up to International Formula 3000 in 1990. Bartels filled in at Lotus for Johnny Herbert, who had commitments in Japanese Formula 3000, at four Grands Prix during the Formula One season, but failed to qualify at all four races. Bartels continued in F3000, finishing 4th in 1992, before switching to the DTM in 1994, where he continued to race until the series ended at the end of 1996.
