The 1989 DFB-Supercup was the third DFB-Supercup, an annual football match contested by the winners of the previous season's Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal competitions. Alan McInally
Alan Bruce McInally (born 10 February 1963) is a Scottish former professional footballer, who played for Ayr United, Celtic, Aston Villa, Bayern Munich and Kilmarnock. Ayr-born McInally variously went by the nicknames of Rambo and Big Mac and he is the son of Jackie McInally, who played in Kilmarnock's title-winning side of 1965, scoring 11 goals. He won his first medal in the 1985–86 season, when Celtic won the title on goal difference from Hearts. Although he played only 16 games (with one goal scored), in his third and last season at the club (1986–87), he scored 15 goals in his 38 league games. Ludwig Kögl
Ludwig Kögl (born 7 March 1966) is a German former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Kögl was born in Penzberg. He played more than 300 (West) German top-flight for FC Bayern Munich, VfB Stuttgart and SpVgg Unterhaching, and won six (West) German titles. Hansi Flick
Hans-Dieter "Hansi" Flick (born 24 February 1965) is a German professional football coach and former player who is the manager of the Germany national team. From August 2006 to July 2014, he was the assistant coach of Germany under manager Joachim Löw. In August 2020, Flick won the UEFA Champions League as the manager of Bayern Munich, completing the club's second continental treble. Hans Pflügler
Johannes Christian "Hans" Pflügler (born 27 March 1960) is a German former professional footballer. He could operate as either a left-back or a central defender, and played solely for Bayern Munich, winning ten major titles and appearing in nearly 400 official games. Pflügler represented West Germany at the 1990 World Cup and Euro 1988, winning the former tournament. Club career Born in Freising, Pflügler made his professional debut in 1981–82 with the only club he ever knew, local FC Bayern Munich. Stefan Reuter (born 16 October 1966) is a German football executive and former player who played as a defender or midfielder. He is the general manager of Bundesliga club FC Augsburg. Jürgen Kohler (born 6 October 1965) is a World Cup-winning German association football, footballer and Coach (sport), manager, who played as a centre-back. Klaus Augenthaler
Klaus "Auge" Augenthaler (born 26 September 1957) is a German former professional football player and manager. A defender, he won seven Bundesliga titles in his 15-year club career with Bayern Munich. He also represented the West Germany national team, winning the FIFA World Cup in 1990. In 2005, Augenthaler was named as a member of the greatest Bayern Munich XI in the club's history. Playing years Augenthaler was born in Fürstenzell, Bavaria, West Germany. Raimond Aumann
Raimond Aumann (born 12 October 1963) is a German former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. His nickname is Balu (Germanized version of Baloo the bear in the Jungle Book). Career Aumann was born in Augsburg, West Germany. He played in the Bundesliga between 1982 and 1994. The first two years he was only reserve keeper of Bayern Munich (first choice was Jean-Marie Pfaff). In 1984, he became number 1 for the first time until his injury in November 1985. Andreas Möller
Andreas Möller (born 2 September 1967) is a German former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. He is the head of the youth department at Eintracht Frankfurt.
