Baby Dalupan
Virgilio "Baby" Adam Dalupan (October 19, 1923 – August 17, 2016) was a Filipino basketball coach and player. Dubbed "The Maestro", Dalupan was best known for his lengthy coaching tenure with the Crispa Redmanizers and garnered a career total of 52 basketball championships. During his 16-year Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) career (1975–1991), Dalupan won 15 PBA championships, the most by any PBA coach until February 26, 2014, when Tim Cone won his 16th PBA championship during the 2013–14 PBA Philippine Cup. Dalupan's record of 15 PBA titles went unmatched for 23 years (1990–2013) until Cone tied Dalupan's record on October 26, 2013, during the 2013 PBA Governors' Cup. George Almones (September 21, 1962 – December 20, 2012) was an American professional basketball player. Standing at 6"4', Almones attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana for three seasons from 1982–83 through 1984–85 before giving up his senior eligibility to turn pro early. Lewis Jackson (basketball, Born 1962)
Lewis Jackson (born August 13, 1962) is the former men's college basketball head coach at Alabama State University. He took over as head coach in 2005, after Rob Spivery departed to take the head coach's job at Southern University. Jackson resigned from ASU on March 27, 2020 after 15 seasons. Prior to becoming the head coach at Alabama State, Jackson was an assistant coach for five years on Spivery's staff. Jackson also played basketball at Alabama State, currently sitting fourth on Alabama State's all-time scoring list, and was named SWAC Player of the Year in his senior year. Jackson was inducted into both the Alabama State and SWAC Hall of Fames, and his number was retired by both Alabama State and his high school, Wetumpka High School.
