The 1988 1. divisjon season, the highest women's football (soccer) league in Norway, began on 30 April 1988 and ended on 9 October 1988. 18 games were played with 3 points given for wins and 1 for draws. Asker SK
Asker Skiklubb is a sports club from Asker, Norway. It was founded on 14 December 1889, and as the name suggests, was initially a cross-country skiing and ski jumping club. Today, however, many individuals (~5000 members) and teams participate in a wide variety of sports, winter and summer as well as sea- and land-based sports. These include—in addition to cross-country skiing and ski jumping—alpine skiing, track and field, orienteering, volleyball, football, handball, kayaking, and biathlon. Tone Haugen
Tone Haugen (born 6 February 1964) is a former Norwegian professional footballer who played as a midfielder. With the Norway women's national team, Haugen won the 1995 FIFA Women's World Cup and an Olympic bronze medal in 1996. At club level she played for SK Trondheims-Ørn in Norway, then joined Japanese L. League team Nikko Securities Dream Ladies on a professional contract. Haugen debuted for the Norwegian national team in 1984, and scored 19 goals in her 90 caps. In 2000 Haugen took a job as player-coach of 1. divisjon club Fortuna Ålesund.
