Nemzeti Bajnokság I
The Nemzeti Bajnokság (, "National Championship"), also known as NB I, is the top level of the Hungarian football league system. The league is officially named OTP Bank Liga after its title sponsor OTP Bank. UEFA currently ranks the league 28th in Europe. Twelve teams compete in the league, playing each other three times, once at home, once away, and the third match is played at the stadium that the last match was not played at. At the end of the season, the top team enters the qualification for the UEFA Champions League, while the runner-up and the third place, together with the winner of the Magyar Kupa enter the UEFA Europa Conference League qualification rounds. The bottom two clubs are relegated to Nemzeti Bajnokság II, the second-level league, to be replaced by the winner and the runner up of the NB2. Szombathelyi Haladás (), is a Hungarian football club based in Szombathely. ''Haladás'' is the Hungarian word for ''progress''. The club, which was founded in 1919, plays its home games at Rohonci úti Stadion which has a capacity of 9,500 (5,430 seats). The club colours are green and white. Haladás reached the Hungarian Cup final in the years 1975, 1993 and 2002. József Kiprich
József Kiprich (born 6 September 1963) is a retired Hungarian football forward and currently a football manager and scout. He made his debut for the Hungarian national team in 1984, and got 70 caps and 28 goals until 1995. He was a participant at the 1986 FIFA World Cup in Mexico, where Hungary failed to progress from the group stage. During his career he won two national championships, five national cups, two super cups and he became top goalscorer in a league twice. Playing career József Kiprich started his professional career at the age of 17 in the 1980/81 season at Tatabányai Bányász which played in the highest Hungarian League in football. Pál Fischer
Pál Fischer (born 29 January 1966 in Budapest) is a Hungarian retired football player. Career After playing initially with Ferencvárosi TC between 1984 and 1991. Fischer managed to be Hungarian national champion and league top scorer in 1992, a year after returning from a year-long loan at AFC Ajax where he was already Dutch Eredivisie champion in 1990. After this successful period he moved to BFC Siófok but after a year he signed with Kispest Honvéd where he was Hungarian champion again in 1993. Afterwards he returned to BFC Siofók in 1993, joined Soproni LC in 1994 before moving to Vasas SC in 1995 where he settled for two seasons. In 1997, he emigrated again, this time to play with Prva HNL club NK Osijek. After one season in Croatia he returned to Hungary and played with BKV Előre SC, III. Kálmán Kovács (born 11 September 1965) is a retired Hungarian football player. He made his debut for the Hungarian national team in 1982, and got 56 caps and 19 goals until 1995. He was a participant at the 1986 FIFA World Cup in Mexico, where Hungary failed to progress from the group stage. Following the end of his active career, he served as technical director at Honvéd and has lately been showing up as co-commentator and expert on several Hungarian TV channels, including during the 2006 World Cup. Magyar Testgyakorlók Köre Budapest Futball Club or shortly MTK is a Hungarian football club based in Józsefváros, Budapest. The team currently plays in the Nemzeti Bajnokság II. Zalaegerszegi Torna Egylet Football Club (), commonly known as Zalaegerszegi TE, Zalaegerszeg or ZTE, is a football club from the city of Zalaegerszeg in Hungary. Zalaegerszeg has won one Hungarian League title in 2002. History ZTE traces its roots back to 1912, at the time of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Its first match was a 4–2 defeat to a team from Vasvár. The team was first composed of members of a literary and debating society. ZTE flourished under coach József Vadász, but World War I halted its progress. In 1920, Zalaegerszegi TE, or "Gymanistics Club of Zalaegerszeg," was born.
