1987 DFB-Supercup
The 1987 DFB-Supercup was the inaugural DFB-Supercup, an annual football match contested by the winners of the previous season's Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal competitions. The match was played at the Waldstadion in Frankfurt, and contested by league champions Bayern Munich and cup winners Hamburger SV. Raimond Aumann
Raimond Aumann (born 12 October 1963) is a German former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. His nickname is Balu (Germanized version of Baloo the bear in the Jungle Book). Career Aumann was born in Augsburg, West Germany. He played in the Bundesliga between 1982 and 1994. The first two years he was only reserve keeper of Bayern Munich (first choice was Jean-Marie Pfaff). In 1984, he became number 1 for the first time until his injury in November 1985. When Pfaff left Bayern Munich in 1988, Aumann became number 1. He was considered one of the best German goalkeepers at that time. With Bayern Munich he won six German championships and twice the German Cup before he transferred in 1994 to Beşiktaş, where he was to help them to a 1995 league victory. Jupp Heynckes
Josef "Jupp" Heynckes (; born 9 May 1945) is a German retired professional footballer and manager. The majority of his player career was as a striker for Borussia Mönchengladbach in its golden era of the 1960s and '70s, when they won many national championships and the DFB-Pokal, as well as the UEFA Cup. During this period the team played in its only European Cup final in 1977, losing to Liverpool. He is the fourth-highest goalscorer in the history of the Bundesliga, with 220 goals. He was a member of the West Germany national team that won the UEFA Euro 1972 and the 1974 FIFA World Cup titles. Hansi Flick
Hans-Dieter "Hansi" Flick (born 24 February 1965) is a German professional football coach and former player who is the manager of the Germany national team. From August 2006 to July 2014, he was the assistant coach of Germany under manager Joachim Löw. In August 2020, Flick won the UEFA Champions League as the manager of Bayern Munich, completing the club's second continental treble. In 2021, he also led the side to a FIFA Club World Cup and another Bundesliga title. Alongside Pep Guardiola, he is one of the only two managers to achieve a sextuple with their team. Roland Wohlfarth
Roland Wohlfarth (born 11 January 1963) is a former professional footballer who played as a forward. Club career Wohlfarth was born in Bocholt. He was active in the Bundesliga from 1981 until 1998, spanning 287 games and 120 goals. At first Wohlfarth played for Borussia Bocholt in his youth, then for Duisburg, Bayern Munich, Leipzig and Bochum. His career ended in the year 2000 at Wuppertal. With Bayern Munich he won the Bundesliga in 1985, 1986, 1987, 1989 and 1990, the DFB Cup in 1986 and the DFL-Supercup in 1987 and 1990. Michael Rummenigge (born 3 February 1964) is a German former professional footballer who played as a forward. Career Rummenigge was born in Lippstadt, North Rhine-Westphalia. At the beginning of his career, he did not have it easy as a player with the Bayern Munich star team. He was often compared to his older brother, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, captain of FC Bayern Munich and the German national team. The team captain of an association football team, sometimes known as the skipper, is a team member chosen to be the on-pitch leader of the team; they are often one of the older or more experienced members of the squad, or a player that can heavily influence a game or has good leadership qualities. Andreas "Andy" Brehme (; born 9 November 1960) is a German football coach and former football defender. At international level, he is best known for scoring the winning goal for Germany in the 1990 FIFA World Cup Final against Argentina from an 85th-minute penalty kick. Hans Pflügler
Johannes Christian "Hans" Pflügler (born 27 March 1960) is a German former professional footballer. He could operate as either a left-back or a central defender, and played solely for Bayern Munich, winning ten major titles and appearing in nearly 400 official games. Pflügler represented West Germany at the 1990 World Cup and Euro 1988, winning the former tournament. Club career Born in Freising, Pflügler made his professional debut in 1981–82 with the only club he ever knew, local FC Bayern Munich.
